While they weren't able to help with my particular project, Bear Remodeling was the only company that referred me to the right vendor for the job. Rachael was kind and attentive on the phone and made sure that she heard the full scope of our project. I respect companies that will help a client find what they need. Means they have the kind of integrity I will remember for future projects in their scope.
They came out and walked the site with me, gave me a half-assed bid, and never responded to my calls.
I unfortunately had close to the same experience as the reviewer below-I scheduled a consult, was really excited by the person who came out and waited for the estimate that was supposed to be sent 24 hours later. He gave great advice that had me thinking about the design and build in a whole new way. Almost a week after not hearing anything I had to do the follow up and I got a two sentence estimate w the wrong details, was missing a major part of the work that I asked for. When I described my experience to Rachael/intake person, and told her I was going to look for another company she didn’t even bother to reply, ie, I’m sorry you had that experience, let us try to make it right and show that we’re a great company, etc. It was a waste of my time, they should work on their customer service.
The biggest thing I HATE doing is wasting time. I scheduled a consultation with Bear remodeling. The estimator came and was on time for the consultation. Before he left, he said he will get me estimate in 24-48 hours. We met on Tuesday and ny Friday I had yet to hear from him. I drove 2 hours for this consultation to get my bathroom upgraded. I am the property Manager so when informed the owners I would have the estimate in 24-48 hours and Bear Remodeling failed to provide it, it places me in the hot seat. Worst of all, I followed up on Friday (72 hours later) and yet, nobody provided me my quote. Now I have to go through this process again.
