I hired Belnap Builders several months back to build an attached shed onto my house, along with converting a window in my garage into a door for easy access between the garage and the new shed. From start to finish, the entire project was handled exceptionally well. Axel, the owner, coordinated everything from engineering to final completion, ensuring the project was done properly and to code. The crew that did the actual construction was outstanding — skilled, hardworking, and clearly took pride in their work. The shed turned out beautifully, and the garage window-to-door conversion is perfect and seamless. What really impressed me was how the company stepped up when an unexpected issue arose. While patching work in the garage, we discovered a roof leak. Axel immediately jumped in to help coordinate the repairs, including bringing in roofers and handling mold remediation. While being an inconvenient side project, Belnap Buiders managed it professionally and without any drama, which saved me a ton of stress and hassle. Additionally, like any construction project, there were a couple of minor issues that came up after the shed first came up — specifically a leak from one of the shed doors and a few details on the roofing that weren’t quite right. Axel came out to inspect everything and made sure both issues were fully corrected, showing strong attention to detail and a real commitment to quality. Throughout the job, communication was excellent (I could text/call Axel at any time for questions), and the site was kept clean. I couldn't be more pleased with the final result — everything looks great and functions exactly as I hoped. I highly recommend Belnap Builders to anyone needing reliable, high-quality general contracting work. They're professional, responsive, and truly go the extra mile. I'll definitely be calling them again for any future projects!

Highly recommend Belnap Builders! Project Scope: New front door and entry refresh, new garage door, properly sealed windows, new siding and window trim, exterior paint, replaced decking, and a new fence. We originally set out to give our 2017 home a simple exterior refresh—paint, new trim, a new garage door—after noticing some potential wood rot around the windows. Axel and his team did a thorough inspection and discovered that the original builder had cut corners, leaving all of our windows improperly sealed and the siding in need of replacement. Axel was completely transparent about the issues, clearly explained the risks of leaving them unaddressed, and walked us through the costs with no surprises. Because we plan to stay in this home long-term, we took this as an opportunity to create something that truly reflects us. Axel immediately understood our vision and offered thoughtful, creative design and finish suggestions that elevated the entire project. It was clear he cared about our home as if it were his own. The entire crew was outstanding. Nick, in particular, went above and beyond on every detail—he even engineered a clever, custom access mechanism for the front of our recessed hot tub. Now that everything is complete, we constantly have people from the dog park across the street stopping to tell us how amazing the house looks. We couldn’t be happier with the results. Belnap Builders earns our highest recommendation.
Axel was great to work with, he was communicative and clearly values his customers, even though my job was small. The cabinets are beautiful and installed perfectly for my space. I would 100% work with them again! Thank you!
Axel and his crew worked incredibly hard and demolished a large, elevated playhouse structure and hauled it away. They were sure easy to work with and I was amazed at Axel's professionalism and the value of the job.
I had a pretty large, fairly dilapidated shed that needed to go. Found Belnap through the thumbtack app, and reviews were great both here and Google, so reached out for a quote. Super quick response time, estimate was pretty spot on with others. They had an immediate opening in the schedule so went ahead and am glad I did! Great people, super helpful, and they did such a good job that not only is the shed gone but they took care to make the spot look nice enough you can’t even tell something was just demoed! I already plan to have them back for some interior work I need…
We used Belnap Builders for a dumpster rental. Axel was professional and communicative the whole time. His pricing was very reasonable, and when we couldn’t be there for the dumpster drop off, he even went the extra mile to Facetime me to verify that the dumpster was where we wanted it. Communication, price, and service were all top notch. Highly recommended.
Axel came to our house to bid on replacing pillars supporting our Ipe deck and house. He noticed some rotting boards under another deck which the other companies missed. He was competent and knowledgeable and his bid was significantly lower than the other companies. He and his assistant completed replacing four pillars in one day. They did a superb job. He replaced bolts which he thought were thinning and even painted the metal brackets to make the pillars look good. I’d hire him to do anything in my house. Sara
We needed a dumpster to facilitate a big move. Axel was responsive, prompt, and flexible as our needs evolved. He followed through and did what he said he’d do. I’d hire him again, and for additional work (beyond dumpster rental).
Easy estimate with pictures, and a visit by Axel. His guys showed up, on time, and got the job done with no fuss. Very professional, and personable. I had fun talking with them while they worked. I will use Axel and his guys again.
Axel is very reliable and I'm glad I hired Belnap! Will be referring business to him and using him again in the future.
"Exceptional service! The team demonstrated a keen understanding of my needs and delivered a recommendation that exceeded expectations. Their attention to detail and thoughtful approach make them my top choice for recommendation construction. Highly recommended!"
Axel and his crew were incredible! My project looked simple enough, remove a few half walls to open up a curved staircase. In reality once they started we realized the builder did a very poor and used unsafe building practices. The challenge was not an issue for these guys! Took it head on, worked around the flooring contractor and the finished product was safe, clean and incredible! Would I recommend them, let me say this they will be doing all of my remodeling projects in the future and I have recommended them to several of my clients!
I highly recommend Belnap Industries for your next general contracting project. They were very professional, responsive, and performed quality work quickly and for an excellent price.
Would recommend Axel and his team to anyone. They were prompt, professional and did work that exceeded my expectations. Left a clean job site too!
Axel quickly set up a date to meet and review the scope of the work. He understood the problem and was able to complete the work within the following working day. Work was done by David who arrived on time. Quality of his carpentry work is excellent. His skill level is such that he makes it look easy. He takes pride in doing a good job and it shows. He’s fast with attention to detail.
Great service, very skilled work. Would highly recommend Axel for the work.
I could not have asked for more from a contractor. They were a bunch of fun guys to hang out with, they communicated well, showed up at the time and date we agreed on and then knocked out the job. I’ll be calling them again in the future.
Axel was great to work with on our demo project. He was highly responsive and communicative every step of the way. He provided a quote quickly and was flexible with our scheduling. He and his team did great quality work on the actual work day, finished on time, and left the work site clean. I would highly recommend him for another construction project.
Axel and his crew did a great job building a roof over a deck for my client. He used quality materials, paid attention to the drawings, and had a professional work ethic. The client is happy and the roof looks great.
We wanted to install an 85 inch TV on a mount that moves up and down above our fireplace and realized that our wall doesn’t have enough number of studs to support it. Benlap team worked with us, helped us come up with a solution in less than a week and provided us with a less messy, comprehensive wall reinforcement option and completed the whole job including the TV install in six hours. I would strongly recommend the team for their work quality and punctuality. It was really wonderful to work with a contractor who does things right and prioritizes quality of work over just getting it done. We would definitely hire the team for future projects around the home.
