I am going to revise my initial review since it was based on misinformation from Thumbtack to the landscaper. Since I don't see a way to delete my review and since most of his reviews are 5-stars, I will give him another 5 since he responded promptly and explained the miscommunication. Thumbtack had reported to him that I had hired someone when, in fact, I have not.

Curtis was friendly, showed up when he said and didn’t try to upsell me.
Curtis was great to work with- he was the first to respond for a quote, showed up the next morning, and completed the job within a week. Extremely pleased and would recommend to anyone! Before and after pictures attached
GREAT contractor !! We needed to sod a small area; new home needed refresh in rear yard. Very responsive to the inquiry - immediately provided an estimate and the work product / installation was perfect !! This is a MUST hire for your lawn / landscape needs ! Highly recommend !!
I hired Benz Lawnscapes to do some landscaping work for a pond build. They did an absolutely incredible job building exactly what I had in mind, including a shelf in the hole for the pond that is not easy to build. Only a true professional can build it as uniform, flat, and level as they built it. Curtis also had a great idea about how to slope the entry way to the area where the pump will be. Again, only a true professional would have thought of that and been able to execute. Also extremely pleasant to work with and were willing to work within my budget to get the job done. Would not hesitate to recommend them to any friend or family member.
Curtis was great. He helped me develop a plan for our back yard and then delivered on time. He even went the extra mile to make a last minute adjustment when he didn’t like how something looked. Would highly recommend
Great experience with Curtis and his team. He was responsive, friendly, and professional, and most importantly, got the project done right the first time--will be calling these guys again for sure.
Very professional and efficient
Curtis quickly helped us replace and repair gates and fence posts in our backyard. He did an excellent job matching the existing style and came up for a great solution when there was some difficulty sourcing a unique post. I would highly recommend him!
Looked great!
We had a small job to put sod down in a sloped back corner of our yard. Curtis came out, examined the area and told me what his plan was for completing the project. We talked about the challenges and he listened to my concerns. He addressed those challenges and delivered an excellent result for a very reasonable price. I’m very happy with the outcome! I look forward to working with him again.
Great team that responds quickly and does high value work
Curt did an amazing job with my lawn slope and drainage issues. He offered a comprehensive plan that was within my budget and executed quickly. He even went above and beyond to help me adjust a deck cover that need to be leveled and secured. I would highly recommend him for any lawn and draininge issues needed.
Very fair price and they did a great job on our lawn!
Does great work!
When you say you’ll show up, let your customer know if you don’t. Don’t ghost them.
Curtis was great to work with. I was relocating from out of state, and he was incredibly respectful and responsive—even before I officially moved. Once I got to town, he followed up quickly and got right to work. He cleaned up my yard and gave me a clear quote for weed control, reseeding, and fertilizing. I really appreciated his professionalism and prompt communication throughout the process.
Overall did a great job! Very professional, got the job done in a very timely manner and we were ecstatic with the results. Will be using them for any future landscaping needs!
They did such a great job removing a tree from my yard! They were quick, responsive, and reasonably priced.
Could have been a lot better experience instead of the negative interaction that we had.
