VERY GOOD WORKERS

Thumbtack customerMay 2026

We recently hired Benzina Construction to install a fence on our property, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, their team was professional, responsive, and easy to work with. The quality of the workmanship was excellent, and the finished fence looks fantastic. They paid attention to the details, kept the work area clean, and completed the project as promised. It’s clear they take pride in their work and care about customer satisfaction. I would absolutely hire Benzina Construction again for future projects and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled contractor. Great experience all around!

Ben and his team were great to work with. Added custom board and batten wainscotting throughout our home. Lots of intrecate milwork. Very punctual from coming out for an estimate to showing up each day as scheduled. The communication was great and they were committed to delivering a project they were proud of and we were excited with. Would definitely reccomend.

They delivered what they promised, on time, on budget with excellent craftsmanship. They completed a Bathroom remodel and new fence with gate. Will do future projects with this amazing team!

Absolutely great experience with Ben and his team! I've had parts of my fence line replaces by three other contractors, but this was the best experience, and best quality work I've received. From the communications to the board quality (nice, clean, beautiful boards) and fast, solid installation - it was perfect. I had a part of the fence where the neighbors trees were pushing across the prop line (and which caused the last fence to collapse) but Ben found a solution so my we could keep the trees AND still get a great line. I've had some issues getting my fences repaired last few years - it was SO great to have a project go so well. Thanks, Ben!

Ben was a breeze to work with. He very accommodative. Their work quality was exceptional, and the products used to build my deck were very high quality. I would very much recommend his crew and would hire them again. I would choose all 5 categories but the software would only let me choose three.

Ben did a fantastic job. Professional, great communication, beautiful quality deck 20’ X 12’ built in just 3 days. Super impressed and will use again for other projects!

I highly recommend Ben. He was wonderful to work with and listened to what we wanted. Detail oriented in making sure the deck character fit with our 1910 craftsman. He and his crew arrived on time, he personally oversaw all work being done and finished on time. Very respectful of us and our neighbors. Fully cleaned up when done. We are thrilled with our covered deck which adds utility and value to our home.

Ben and his crew were outstanding! Ben clearly and politely communicated with me throughout the process, explaining everything that would be done. We had our front porch sanded and refinished, and the front steps rebuilt with a deeper tread. When the first coat of stain didn’t look quite right, Ben was back the next day to “make it perfect” (as he says) and it was! He is super conscientious about doing a great job and wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied. I highly recommend him! I am including before, during, and after photos so you can see for yourself.

Team Benzina showed up about 2 hours after I contacted them. They started work just a few days later. Their work was professional and exactly what we needed. We would hire them again without hesitation.

Ben and his crew repaired and leveled my 20yo deck. Pressure washed, sanded and refinished, he even closed the risers on the steps for free. Outstanding service, professionalism and strong communications. Highly recommend Benzina Construction!

After about a year of this project completion I am now ready to evaluate this contractor as a warning for others. As nice as Ben is to work with and flexible too I just don’t think the workmanship is there. I am still dealing with issues of unsealed grout ( I just assumed a contractor would do), uneven subfloor and resulting cracked tile. Initially the bathroom looked OK because of the expensive materials I purchased, but the installation is not good and I think people should know this before they hire this contractor. I think the reason for the good reviews are his negotiating tactics at the end of a job. People should know the quality is not 4 1/2 stars.

Ben & I discussed the project and I sent photos ta assist his understanding of the situation. He was professional in declining to inspect/bid on the project.

Ben and his team were incredible to work with. Responsive, understanding of our schedule, and perform high quality work. Our project was sanding and staining our front /back deck. We ordered a different color stain then what we were thinking in our mind (our fault) and Ben worked with us on making sure the end result was to our liking, even coming back for an extra day (at no additional cost). In my mind this was going above and beyond which doesn't happen often nowadays. I look forward to working with him and his team in the future and highly recommend Benzina Construction!!

Ben was a joy to work with. He kept me informed every step of the way and was willing to happily make changes to make things right, even when the mistake was mine. The finished job was very satisfying and Ben spared nothing to make it quick and easy.
