They gave a price, we asked to proceed but they stopped responding. Their excuse was they were busy. Really weird they would waste their time to come give an estimate and then not want to come back when it’s approved. I bothered them about it for two days. We decided to cancel and go with someone willing to help us. This showed us right off the bat they are unreliable to show up and do the job and their warranty is probably the same.
The workmanship, exactness, and attention to detail with this tile job is by far the best quality we have seen through three separate tiling projects. In this line of work, perfectly placed tile in an exact line and pure gaps should be a given, but this is the first tiling job we had seen done with absolute perfection. Well done!
Got on the project fast and were super responsive
The flooring itself looks fine, but the experience left a lot to be desired. Communication was poor (except when it was time to collect money) from start to finish — I had to reach out multiple times to address issues, often getting no response or an extremely delayed one. The biggest issue was the finished work. There were large gaps between the floor and baseboards, making the job look incomplete. After getting the “expectations of work” talk from the owner (Mario) when I brought up the issue, he said he would have someone come take a look. It took them four weeks to even attempt to fix the gaps, and when they finally did, the repairs were subpar. I was told by the repairman that he would reach out to see if repairs were suitable, instead the next communications, which came promptly, involved money collection.
Amazing experience with Big Bear. Mario is knowledgeable, professional and more importantly kind. He's helped me make practical decisions instead of trying to just get more business. Also great work done with the carpet and LVP flooring installation. Highly recommend!
We’re super helpful at first & then as soon as I needed them to install, they stopped communicating with me. Super disappointed. Really would have loved to give them my business.
Perfect! Great experience with Big Bear Flooring and will definitely hire again! Mario and team have great communication, punctuality, excellent work quality, and they transformed my kitchen with beautiful textured tile reminiscent of the delicate layers of Chantilly cake. I am very happy! 😊
Big Bear installed a new floor for about 1,200 feet, and created a special approach to steps leading down to our family room. Overall, our experience was very good! From the beginning when Marco visited us to discuss the installation to final touches, the process was professional and dependable. The flooring team were on time very day and were very good communicating with us on their plans and made sure we were included on any on the spot decisions to be made. The "steps" team were true artisans and took a bit longer than planned but reflect the high quality approach that they accomplished. This experience was one of the best contractor projects we have had in our home. We wholeheartedly recommend Big Bear to other potential clients.
Wonderful experience, Ashley was very helpful in helping me choose the right color and was very consistent with communication and always responded quickly I feel like I made a new friend with her, Mario as well great communication and professional wonderful installers as well, And overall great experience and the best part was the great price, Thank All of y'all. I'd recommend Big Bear Flooring too anyone looking for new carpet.
We used Big Bear to install LVP and carpet throughout our entire house. The service they provided us is the best we have seen. They provided a quote very fast and got us scheduled right away. They kept in constant communication throughout the entire process to give us updates and when they finished up. I cannot recommend them enough.
They did a fantastic job with our carpet! We had a specific carpet we needed and they were able to track it down for us. Great experience working with Big Bear Flooring
We had a great experience with Big Bear Flooring! They were quick, responsive, and offered fair pricing. The whole process was smooth, and their professionalism and quality of work really stood out. Highly recommend!
Absolutely fantastic work by their team. Could not be happier!
Did a great job and will have the carpet installed here in the near future.
Very impressed with Big Bear Flooring. They did an excellent job at installing LVP in my kitchen and carpeting in a bedroom. Both Ashley and Mario (and the installer, Alex) were willing to take the time to answer all of my questions. Their work is top-notch, and I wholeheartedly recommend them. 3/1/2022 Update: A bit disappointed the the installer didn't tell me that he accidently removed a portion of the drywall when installing the baseboards. Instead of letting me know about the issue, I had to find it myself a month later. After spending $2,600 on new flooring, I expected a bit more in this regard.
Great job with the carpet. They found an exact match and were speedy to get it installed.
Picking them for my next project of laminate flooring in family room and bedrooms in a month based on my experience with them on my carpet project.
These guys worked real hard and my floors turned out great. They were very quick to respond and come up with solutions. I would definitely use them again
