Not only was the work done professionally but the price was affordable
They did a great job seal coating my driveway. Will use again.
UPDATED ! Can not recommend. Pavement failure occurred within 2 months of installation. Reported failures and 8 months have pasted and no repairs have been made under the contracted 2 year warranty.
We were extremely pleased from start to finish with the professionalism, workmanship, communication, and price of BlackTop Plus. I contacted JR in the afternoon for a quote, and less than thirty minutes later, he was at our property ready to discuss the project. After receiving multiple quotes, we decided to go with BlackTop Plus because they have been in business for many years, they are family-owned, and their price couldn't be beat. We got our project scheduled with Bill very easily and on the day that the project was to be completed, both JR and Bill came out to ensure that all went well. The crew then got underway with the 4000+ sq. ft. job, and they finished in less than 7 hours. We will be recommending them to our neighbors and friends!
They worked on our driveway and an RV pad. Everyone was helpful and professional. The crew was a was respectful of my yard and garden. I was amazed at how good the driveway looked. We have already recommended them to some of our neighbors.
Blacktop Plus did an amazing job on my driveway and they were reasonably priced. I highly recommend!
This was my second time using Thumbtack, and I’m thoroughly impressed with the quality of contractors once again! Dwayne, Horatio, and their crew did outstanding work on our long country driveway. They clearly explained what to expect, provided helpful guidance on maintenance, and exceeded my expectations with the final result. The driveway looks incredible, and I couldn’t be happier. We’re already planning to return next year for seal coating and possibly some concrete work. Excellent craftsmanship at a great price—highly recommended!
Never followed up on initial bid offer - a month went by without hearing from them, even tho they replied positively - so i found another company…they’re wasted a month of my time. Actually at this point i havent heard from them in almost 2 mos - not reliable.
Good estimate price and sounds like they know what they’re doing, but they no showed 2 dates we had set to do my job. No communication, either text, phone, or ThumbTack app. I even tried to confirm the day before each appointment and nothing. Nobody showed up, no calls, texts, messages, or replies to my inquiries.
Very disappointed in the work performed by Blacktop Plus. We had them out to resurface our driveway and they sprayed everything that was even remotely close to the driveway. They ignored multiple attempts to contact them and rectify the situation over the last two months.
I’d like to start by saying I’m trying to be as objective as possible. I asked for a quote and a couple weeks later I messaged that I wanted to move forward with the work (the first week of September). The quote was 30% cheaper than the next nearest offer. The job is a paving a 1300 sqft driveway with old asphalt removal. Nobody replied for weeks. Finally, I called JR directly after sending multiple texts. Finally (on 9/30) we set a date for 10/22. They cancelled that date due to some light rain that happened on the weekend prior (odd because it was very light, but when ur having work done outside not too concerning). I called a few times and was eventually able to get ahold of Bill who told me they could do it 10/31. He said 9 am. I got ready and took the day off work-9 am came and went. I’ve left multiple voicemails and a text asking for an update. It’s 12 pm now and I’m giving up. No call, no show when a person is taking a day off work to do the work at a price they bid (I didn’t even attempt to haggle this price) seems very disrespectful to me and my time. Worst yet; I’ve wasted too much time with them and I’ve likely missed the window for this work to be done this fall. I blame myself-if something seems too good to be true: it is. Please choose wisely!
Originally said they would be available in a week or so. Then, promised to do it by July. No response after contacting them multiple times and they even did another project up here recently. Very frustrating to get no response to my messages and no follow through when they promised they could get to it. Not great customer service.
Great communication, ontime & reasonably priced. Job well done.
Martin did a good job. He filled cracks and applied the sealer. Pot hole fill was OK, but not great. He was on time and communicated well.
They showed up on time the crew was very attentive and they did a wonderful job
I couldn’t be happier with the work. Jorge, Don and the crew were efficient and communicative. Our driveway looks great and was completed in 1 day. Professional and a high-quality installation. I highly recommend this company.
Still waiting for over a week to hear from them when they will do our driveway
My experience with Blacktop Plus was excellent. My new asphalt driveway was done by the highly skilled professional men on the crew. It was very affordable and of the highest quality. I highly recommend this company for your asphalt jobs.
These guys did a great job turning my muddy mountain driveway into a blacktop masterpiece. Everyone on their crew was friendly and professional. And in a time when it’s tough to get any sort of trades to call you back, JR was always punctual and responsive. Highly recommended.
