I contacted Tim to install swing-open garage doors. He came out to see the job on the Fourth of July weekend (!) and gave me an estimate. He was in contact throughout the rainy spell we had and came out this morning with his guys to get the job done. I’m so happy with everything about this transaxtion. They even cleaned up/organized my garage for me and replaced a broken storm drain cover.

VERY Shoddy workmanship No support at all in the center of a 10x30 deck, which I think there should be. I might be wrong about the support, but I know I'm not on these two posts (there's gonna be a set of steps here). The old deck wasn't removed properly, as he outlined in his invoice. He may have come back later and cut down the old post stubs, but that is not the right way to do it. He said the support in the middle wasn't needed. Those are my concrete pads he took from a pile I have in my backyard for a landscaping project. He didnt ask to use my stuff, he just decided to take my stuff and use it. He put the other posts in with concrete (which he tried to do in the pouring rain, which weakens the concrete.) He argued with me about this and he finally decided to wait. These pads aren't necessarily the problem, its the way its being installed. Not centered on the pad and no anchor. He also nailed the new post into the stub of the old post. (See pics.) The steps on the other side are supposed to be 36" and they're only 31" When he bid the job, it was only for a deck...I was gonna get an aluminum awning added afterwards. he convinced me that the structure would be stronger if we tied the roof into the post with the deck.... and I agreed. Then he proceeded to put up the deck with short posts and not tie the post into the roof... He was going to just add it on top of the deck, JUST LIKE THE ALUMINUM ONE. After THAT argument he went to get the proper length poles. The three days he came to my house, he drove all over my front lawn and left ruts. I paid him half the cost of the project, thus covering the cost of the materials. Then he removed some materials from the job after I fired him. Horrible experience Update: Of course he comes on here calling me a "nut job". THE PICTURES SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. I've used this site for many projects and I leave many great reviews for the PROFESSIONALS I've hired. This guy is the typical misogynistic man who thinks he can screw over a woman with shoddy workmanship and she wont know. I've been in the construction industry myself for 30+ years and I DO KNOW.
Tim was punctual, responsive and the best value of 8 estimates I received. Completed 90 linear feet of wooden fencing in about 6 hours over 2 days. Highly recommended!

Tim and Casey did a great job on my fence install. There was one issue that arose after the job was completed that Tim promptly came out to correct. Other than that, great job and I will be hiring again when the time comes!

Tim and his crew arrived precisely on time, we chatted about the project, and they promptly started work. They did a marvelous job and my husband and I are extremely happy with their work. Also, prior to the job's start date, Tim stayed in close touch by phone or text, which I find extremely unusual and much appreciated. I'd say that if you have something that needs done around your property, call Tim. You won't be disappointed.
