About Buddy Buildings
Hi! We are Buddy Buildings, a local construction and carpentry team serving the Lake Norman area, Charlotte. We specialize in decks, porches, pergolas, covered structures, exterior carpentry, framing, and residential renovation projects. From smaller repairs to complete deck rebuilds and custom outdoor living spaces, our team has completed a wide range of projects throughout the area. Buddy Buildings is a certified builder with Trex, TimberTech, and Deckorators. We work with trusted manufacturers and modern building systems to give our clients more choices in decking, railing, colors, finishes, and long-term warranty options. We pay close attention to structural details, proper installation methods, manufacturer requirements, and building codes. Our goal is not simply to make a project look good — we want it to be built correctly, safely, and to last for many years. For our clients, we try to make the entire process as straightforward as possible. We help with material and design selections, explain different options and price levels, provide detailed estimates, and keep communication clear throughout the project. You always know what we are building, what materials are being used, and what to expect next. Our team works with pressure-treated lumber, composite and PVC decking, railing systems, PVC trim, structural framing, roofing structures, and many other exterior construction materials. Whether you already know exactly what you want or need help developing the best solution for your property, feel free to reach out. We will be happy to discuss your project, provide recommendations, and prepare a detailed estimate. Thank you for considering Buddy Buildings!

Buddy was responsive and sent a team out quickly to get the job done! They were so quick and able re-screen of my entire porch in one day which I really appreciated because my cat kept escaping. Thank you Buddy and team!
Absolutely amazing job. Extremely thorough, very friendly and definitely exceeded my expectations.
Great experience will definitely use them again, already recommending to friends.
Igor tackled a tough job installing slatted cladding in our pool cabana.
Installing Radiant barrier in attic required being able to work in a hot attic ..He did so no problem
He installed gutter guards that weren’t exact fit, he took the time to modify them to fit perfectly. He is a real pro!!

Buddy Buildings did an excellent job on my porch project. They were prompt, professional, and easy to work with from start to finish. The work turned out exactly how I expected — and honestly, even better. The finished product looks great, feels solid, and shows real attention to detail. I would definitely hire them again and would recommend Buddy Buildings to anyone looking for quality work.
Evgeny and his excellent crew were a pleasure to work with. They showed when promised, did quality work, listened and addressed any concerns, were courteous and professional at all times. You don't generally think of the word pleasant to describe contractors, but they were pleasant, even on very hot, long days. Kudos.
Super pleased with the results Buddy Builders did to update our front porch. From initial quote, to final build, the communication and results were great! We are very pleased and highly recommend. We will be using them again!
Let the work speak for itself! Amazing job with removing carpet and replacing with wooden treads. Before, during, after. Truly impressive right! Thank you for your service, time, and dedication with this project.
I had several estimates on my deck repair and staining. Buddy Buildings was the only one who gave me a detailed estimate ! I knew exactly how much each board was going to cost ! How long it would take to repair and stain and what the labor would cost. They kept in touch by text and responded immediately. . They showed up on time and cleaned up. I would highly recommend them.
Did a great job install a hoist system in my garage.
Job well done
My experience with Buddy Buildings was outstanding. Evgeny has a great attention to detail and performs all work in a highly professional manner.
I would have checked all 5 of the qualities that Evgeny displayed during his work at my house if I was allowed to check more than 3! Came on time, worked straight thru until the jobs were done. Highly recommend him for his great work ethic.
