Doug was prompt and had good ideas for my project. We are planning when to get the project started.
He installed a whole-house surge protector for a very reasonable price.
Doug was excellent. Arrived at the agreed time and he also notified me when he was on his way. Ran into a few hiccups on my end (old house problems!) however Doug was able to give alternate solutions and make it work. Very happy we were able to connect with him for the job. Highly recommend and will definitely be calling him back if we have any future projects.
Douglas was very friendly, professional and efficient, He answered all my questions and accomplished the repair to my satisfaction.
This Pro name Douglas is intelligent and knows how to find a way to fix the unexpected problems occurred. Most importantly he completed his job in one day.
Doug was able to come next day, quickly diagnosed the problem, and fix the electrical on the same day. Honest, good pricing and fair. Will definitely contact Doug for future electrical issues.
Quality workmanship. Punctual. Professional.
He came & reviewed the project & said he could do the shower light/fan replacement. He said he would send an estimate & gave me the date he could do the work. He came on time & did an excellent job. When done, he went over the remote control with us. He also helped setup the Bluetooth connection.
I inquired about the installation of my bathroom vanity. Douglas was prompt in his response, and we scheduled an appointment for him to provide an estimate. He arrived on time and brought his necessary tools. He presented me with a reasonable price and commenced the installation process. Following the completion of the installation, he took the time to show me the various settings of the vanity light. I highly recommend CAL Home Improvement for your electrical needs. Thanks Douglas for helping me out!
Prompt responses, on-time, thorough execution, and professional. Douglass also had good recommendations on some lighting challenges at the house.

CAL did a phenomenal job installing a 240V Level 2 EV charging outlet in our garage. He responded promptly, offered a very fair price, and took the time to find a creative solution for routing the wiring across the garage to best fit our family’s needs. His workmanship was excellent, and the entire process was professional from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire CAL again for future electrical work and highly recommend him.
Top-notch service! He responded quickly and not only installed the light kit swiftly for my ceiling fan, but he also identified and fixed a major safety hazard left by the previous electrician. Thank you! Thank you!!
I chose CAL Home Improvement primarily based on positive reviews and servicing Waipahu area. My dryer did not turn on and my troubleshooting determine- no electricity. Glad I choose this company, Douglas Maciel had my dryer working within 24 hours of my request. It was not the circuit breaker but required an electrician's diagnostic testing to find a solution. He's knowledgeable, friendly, easy to talk to, and I will hire him again for future electrical upgrades. Price for repairing my dryer problem was reasonable.
