As someone who has moved several times, I can confidently say that John & his crew were the best movers we've ever hired. They showed up right on time, consulted with us to come up with an effective game plan, and took the utmost care of every single item and box. The crew worked very well together and weren't afraid to ask us questions to make sure everything that needed moved was taken care of. They protected our mattresses, furniture, and even the floors & front door of our place to make sure no damage occurred. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again or recommend their services to anyone who needs them!

I was delighted with the attention and service of John. His 2 crew members, on the other hand, worked but seemingly under less than ideal circumstances (they both seemed ill). They were careful with my property and John patiently waited while I looked for a part to fix a mirror he was trying to install on a dresser. I really appreciated that.

I had a terrible experience with a ‘’professional’’ moving company that was unprofessional and caused significant damage to my property and furniture. The owner overcharged me, destroyed my belongings, and refused to take responsibility for their actions. I paid around $1000 to move my two-bedroom home less than 10 miles away, which is absolutely insane. They scratched the door heavily at the pick-up location and left my washer and dryer in the front hallway, posing a severe fire hazard. Nevermind the fact that they were going to leave it on the front porch, stating ‘’It’ll be okay right there’’. Moreover, the company destroyed two bookcases that I owned, and they left plenty of items at the pick-up location that my family and I had to retrieve, making more than six trips to get everything. The owner didn’t have his credit card reader, forcing me to make multiple payments through the Thumbtack app. Because who expects to pay this much for a ‘simple’ move? So he said to pay $317 within 14 days. The day after the move, I discovered the damage caused by the company, and when I addressed it with the owner, he refused to take responsibility and was only concerned about the money. He also gave me a $50 late fee :). He even claimed that I was happy with the move, which is far from the truth. I’m beyond upset and disappointed about this whole ordeal. I brought this up with Thumbtack support and the owner let the dispute expire twice because he was unresponsive. I did end up getting a partial refund for the damage to the front door, but through Thumbtack, not the argumentative owner. If you want a moving company to damage property and leave you with the biggest headache you ever had, this is your place.

The movers were EXCELLENT!!! They made sure that all of the fine furniture and antiques were wrapped and padded. They only took a 1/2 hour break for lunch (which the time was not charged). They treated all of my belongings with such care as if it was their own. I will always use them!

I've moved 2x/year for the past 5 years and John was by far incomparable to all of my movers combined. After being scammed by previous movers, I was really stressed about this move but John made it a PLEASANT and stress-free move. He was kind and communicated everything clearly, no hidden fees or surprises. Certainly will be using his services again next year!
