Overall Castro did a wonderful job on our small fence and gate installation project. However they were a little late. They gave a start window of 7:30 to 9:00 but got delayed and didn't make it until 9:50. Then after they arrived there was an issue where the original estimate did not including the full pricing for the gate. We discussed the discrepancy and they reworked the estimate. I decided to continue with the installation and was pleased with the end result. Despite the late arrival and the unexpected price increase on the estimate, the installation went well and the quality of the work was evident.

As the distant son in Arizona, -if the politics, economy and cost of living were better suited for my profession, I would relocate closer to my Mom. For now,... even with the 3hr difference,... Castro and I were able to communicate the issues at her home, schedule a repair, and confirm payment - easy peasy :-) Apparently, the Builder didn’t sink the mailbox post deep enough or stabilize it,... fast forward 20yrs of the extreme seasons of the Northeast - hot .. cold .. wet .. freeze - expansion and contraction, -and the mailbox post (with a 5lb box on top) started to tilt. >> Castro dug a deeper hole, lined it for stability, and re-leveled it to the same height as the neighbors ; per HOA mandate. The following day, she had a tornado warning, and it’s still standing 😃 I’m very happy with Castro Landscaping,... -I’ll definitely call on them in the future - from Arizona 😝
I’ve never left a bad review before. But I hired Castro to install about 25 feet of fencing with a double gate because I have three dogs. The double gate has a big gap and one of my dogs gets through, and the fence wasn’t finished, leaving exposed ends of pipe at the top with no caps. The gate is also Not the same height as the rest of the fence. I also had them do some landscaping in overgrown beds. I was told the area would be sprayed once the ground cover was removed so that it wouldn’t grow back and apparently it never was because it is a mess. Basically the plants were hacked down and roots not pulled or treated. I was also told it was a two day job and the crew showed up for one day on the weekends over the course of three weeks.
Castro did an amazing basement painting job. He and his team was meticulous about the quality of the job. They did go above and beyond to ensure quality into their work. I would highly recommend Castro and his team for painting. Pics attached.
