Reached out to Cavinbuilt for an estimate. Without asking any questions about the project, budget, etc. He immediately responded with we won't do anything under $25k. With responses like this, he definitely won't receive our money.

Reviews
Team friendly
They never got back in touch with me, and the person only said he'd "pass my details along and someone would be in touch with me soon". I've used Thumbtack before and was never put in touch with a "reseller" of my job. It was always the person actually doing the work. What a disappointment. The only reason I did not give my address to a total stranger is that the total stranger never bothered to call me, even after receipt of my phone number. I suspect this person is a scammer; thank god I didn't give him my address.
Professional, provided fair estimate which was extremely valuable for the project.
Basement project was exactly what we wanted. They worked with us through decision changes and add-ons. Went over initial completion date but we added a few items as we went so the extra time was expected. Very professional team worked diligently and were very clear about what was to happen and when. Never had one issue with communication. I would hire them again for my next renovation.
No proper follow up .
Not trust worthy. Appt at 11am. Said they were here around 11:30. I have a RING. What a lied. If he showed at on time there would be no issue. Their loss. I don’t understand all the good reviews. No show, does respond via app but lies. This was his response: “He said he was there and rang the doorbell. No answer. Sorry that you had to run. and sorry for the late time arrival. The estimate usually takes an hour to do anyhow. So the 30 mins window wouldn't have worked for either of us. “
Job well done. Jeff and Kevin are very professional. All the contractors are highly qualified and experienced. They provided guidance and necessary recommendations through out the job duration.
Cavinbuilt did and excellent job on my basement bathroom and i would recommend them any day of the week and twice on Sunday. They were professional and great communicators throughout the project.
I have been working with Cavinbuilt for finishing my basement. So far they have been exceptional and exceeded all my expectations. Addison is an excellent project manager and has worked with perfection. The team is efficient, punctual and extremely polite. I am extremely glad that I gave them the contract
We enjoyed working with Jeff and his team for our major remodeling. He helped us install a brand new kitchen including new flooring and also finish our basement, turning it into an independent in-law suite (master bedroom with walk-in closet, bathroom, new kitchen, and create 2-bedrooms). I had several quotes for the job but Jeff's offer was the most reasonable and his work was of good quality. Like any large project we ran into small issues but Jeff was very responsive in getting back to me and getting these resolved. I would highly recommend Jeff for your next project!
Very courteous. Work is quality. Very good to work with.
We had the CavinBuilt team finish our entire basement in a timely manner! We couldn't be happier! From the very beginning they were extremely professional and we felt they were being very honest with us and prices. They exceeded our expectations with the finished product. We receive so many compliments from all our friends and neighbors on the basement! Definitely recommend!
This guy declined my appointment and made ZERO attempts to reschedule....EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL
My wife and I are very pleased with the our newly finished basement. Cavin and his team exceeded our expectations and transformed our unfinished basement into a space that will last forever. I am glad we choose Cavinbuilt!
Cavin Built did a great job on our kitchen renovation. We appreciate the high quality of work and are very pleased with the end result.
Jeff and his team did a great job giving my wife and I exactly what we were looking for. They consulted with us every step of the way and did their best to work with our short timeframe. Certainly will use them again in the future.
Jeff and Jeff were awesome. I was a little nervous at first because it was a lot of reviews. But once I saw Cavinbuilt Facebook page I knew it was a good choice. I had problems with a pre purchased Home Depot acrylic wall insert, and Jeff was there to help me along with the process and give me an alternative option with my bathroom. He even met me at the local floor store to help me with my selection. The prices was more than reasonable. The customer service was exceptional. I plan on using them for my future projects and recommend them to anyone looking for a renovation, addition, remodel. Thanks again Guys.
