Gregg did an outstanding job securing my property from rat invasion by putting a new border around an old shed to secure it from rat invasion, checking over my property for ways that rats could get into my house, and replacing my old plastic dryer vent. The border around the shed looks great, with paint that matches the siding. I am very pleased with the results and also the price. He am going to call him for any work I have in the future.
Greg and his son, Justin, installed floorboards in my bathroom plus completed a couple other small tasks. They were ready to work immediately and got the job done without delay. I was very happy with the end product!

We hired CDB Construction to build an ADU in our back yard last September 2023 and there were a number of big issues. In our contract it says we would have the required permits to make it a permitted structure. Knowing that it would be a permitted structure, we decided to go ahead and have it built. At completion of the project when asking Gregg about permit documentation to submit to insurance, we were informed that there were no permits for our ADU. When contacting Gregg about it I got excuses about why it didn’t need any permits. At one point he said we didn’t need them because he just upgraded an existing shed. Very much not true and would put the issue of permits back on us. None of his excuses/reasons made any sense. The city of Nampa requires permits. He should know this if he is a contractor building in the area. We have had to fix CDB Constructions’ terrible finish work. We had to repaint the interior and the cabinets. (Pics of CDB’s finished work attached). I specifically told Gregg before the electrician came that we wanted the living area and the kitchen to be on separate light switches (he was planning on them being on the same switch) and later learned after the drywall went up that that didn’t happen. We decided to have the shower tiled and instead of having a professional tiler, Gregg did the work himself. We were left with a shower with crooked, unlevel tiles. Gregg had “reasons” why it was like that. If we had known it was going to look the way it currently does, we would not have paid an additional $2,200 for the shower to CDB and rather paid a professional tiler. There were many weeks where there was less than a day of work done. In our initial meetings before the build started we said we wanted a tankless water heater, this was not in his bid and was an additional cost to us, $2,450. We told him that we already had a plumber out and they said we’d need a grinder/pump for the sewage. This was also not in his bid and cost us an additional $3,000. In the end, Sept 2024, we are left with a structure that has no permits, many errors and Gregg has gone silent.
Gregg and his team were awesome. He was very responsive in setting up the initial consultation, thorough in evaluating our project, and came through when we asked for a few little touch ups at the end of the project. We love the quality of work and would highly recommend Gregg and CDB Construction!
Greg came out and gave me an estimate within 2 days and started on project within a week. Another person on Thumbtack didn't even get my estimate back after a week
Nice person, but wanted 4 times what it took to have someone else do the job. Went with someone else saved $3500. Handyman over contractor costs.

Right on time and good price
Gregg and his team completely renovated our garage. There were electrical / hvac items that were complications and they absolutely nailed it. We had a dumpy garage be transformed into an enjoyable addition to our home. They did a wonderful job and I highly recommend them.
CDB construction helped us when several other companies flaked on us. We needed exterior stairs and decks replaced on a 4-plex and CDB did an excellent job! They were patient when Boise city needed ridiculous and tedious tasks required, and got the job done as soon as possible. I highly recommend CDB construction. They were fair priced and great to work with.
We hired Greg and his crew to do extensive remodeling on a mobile home. After several delays and shoddy workmanship, we had to let Gregg and his crew go. We hired another crew to finish the job, and they as well as the electrician and plumber found multiple issues with CDB's work. It cost us a lot of money to have the work redone properly.
