Chef Justin was amazing and I would highly recommend him. He made my mother's 70th birthday celebration an event she will never forget. I cannot rave about him enough. Five stars all around.
Chef Justin went above and beyond for our party!!! First, he agreed to come in at the last minute when the prior caterer wasn't responding. I booked him on Monday and on Saturday he delivered excellent food and service for 50 people!! Everyone raved about the food - my brother was so impressed he donated extra money toward a tip for the servers..... They left my kitchen so clean - you couldn't tell they were even here. I wish I could choose even more stars - Justin and his crew definitely deserve it!!
If there were 6 stars, that’s what I would rate Chef Justin. We were traveling to LA for a milestone birthday. Chef Justin was very responsive during this planning phase which was critical since it was long distance. He was flexible with the menu and provided great suggestions. He was especially accommodating for a couple of guests with particular tastes. He and his team were very professional during the actual meal prep and also very fun! The food was all delicious and he and his crew cleaned up well afterwards. I highly recommend Chef Justin and will use him again if we are back in LA.
Look no further!! There should be a sixth star because Chef Justin and his staff exceeded the category. Whether it was the presentation, the dynamic flavor profiles, or his cheerful team - every moment of our meal was elevated by some small attention to detail. It was a birthday for 13 and I cannot say enough about the experience. The feeling coming from the kitchen was a real love of food and a genuine desire to cook a perfect meal for everyone. I will invent occasions just so I can have him come back.
Justin deserves every one of his five stars! He was easy to work with, brought great energy to the group, and made us a beyond-delicious Japanese fusion style meal (my friends were asking for his contact after!) I appreciated Justin’s creativity, commitment to using quality and local ingredients, flexibility around dietary preferences, and thoughtfulness in every detail. I’ll no doubt be saving his contact for future events!

Justin and his team crushed it. He served for our wedding of 40-ish people and communication was superb, vibes we great, and food was delicious. Justin made the whole process a breeze.
Chef Justin and his crew are the “Navy Seals” of Chefdom! They are highly organized, efficient, adaptive and exceed expectations! Their situational awareness and high IQ/EQs allow a host to smile, relax, and comfortably enjoy the occasion just as it should be! BRAVO!!!!!
If I had to describe our dinner with Chef Justin in one word, it would simply be “magical.” This was a “just because” end of Summer dinner with the family (~10 people). I wanted it to be laid back/casual, but I also wanted the food to be poppin’ off the charts. Chef Justin smashed my expectations - which were set unreasonably high. He’s incredibly communicative and focused on creating a menu that matched my tastes and desired vibes for the night. Everything was customizable and totally curated. I made a couple high-level suggestions (wanted pasta and steak courses), but then let Chef Justin work his creative magic. 5-course meal + dessert. All of the food was made from scratch using top-tier fresh ingredients. He turned my very regular suburb kitchen into a scene out of The Bear. Ribeyes were grilled, 20’ of handmade pasta was rolled, broccoli was shaved and kale was crisped. All of this detail translated onto the plate and BLEW our tastebuds away. There was so much food that we had leftovers (and my family can eat)! Chef Justin isnt just a wizard in the kitchen. He totally connected with my family too - not always an easy task. They totally leaned into the experience and our collective excitement grew with each course. What was supposed to be just a cool meal, turned into a core memory (for adults no less!). It wasn’t a dinner, it was a culinary journey, and we were family by the end of the night! I can’t sing Chef J’s praises loud enough. He’s our exclusive chef going-forward any time we’re looking create more memories like the ones we created over the weekend. If you’re looking to create similar memories with your family and friends, then he should be your go-to chef as well!
Chef Justin provided and incredible experience for our group of 11. We requested what we’d like to have and crushed it. Every course was delicious. Homemade pasta. Reasonable price for the value and quality we got. Certainly would recommend him for a private event!
Justin prepared and served a fabulous dinner for a dozen of our close firends and family at our home to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. I contacted Justin through Thumbtack based on his very good reviews. After our initial exchange of messages, he called me to go over what I had in mind, type of cuisines, flavors, likes and dislikes, allergies, family style vs. plated etc. We decided to do the dinner tapas style with 6 items and dessert. We are foodies so he suggested items which were a fusion of spanish, asian, middle-eastern, and Peruvian flavors - hamachi crudo, Spanish toast, grilled sirloin, lamp lollipops, burrata cups with his unique preparations and taste. I used to pride myself of being a good cook of a rack of lamb - but Justin's lamb lollipop humbled me it was so good with subltle flavors and cooked to perfection, the grilled sirloin melted in our mouths. The final dish was brown butter and shrimp pasta - he made the pasta fresh at our home - it was light and so flavorful and a great finish to our dinner. Justin suggested 4/5 to dishes initially - he assured me there would be enough of food - I should have listened to him - his portions were large and there was plenty of food. Justin came to our house around 2pm and with his assitant and prepared the meal in our kitchen. I had Justin bring the place setting and his serving dishes and utensils and he had a server, Tip, come at 6pm and setup the table. We sat down for dinner at 7pm. Justin, his asistant, and Tip took care of the serving of the dinner, drinks etc. for the next 3 hrs. They were very friendly and interacted with our guests and we exchanged stories of our travels and dining experiences etc. It was a very enjoyable and memorable evening had by all. We will definitely have Justin prepare us another of his wonderful meals - hopefully soon!
Chef Justin was great for my birthday dinner! I had him cook dinner for a party of 20 people for my 21st birthday party and not only was the food amazing, Chef Justin had made everything as smooth as possible to make my night perfect! I highly would recommend him to any friends or family.
Chef Justin made my 40th Birthday Party so special! We hired him to do a casual outdoor brunch after our group yoga class. He created a delicious menu, took all of my requests and added his own artistry to the food. He has such a warm and calm energy, he was a wonderful addition to the group, easy to work with. And the food was phenomenal!! The overnight oats with mango chutney, the frittatas and the smoked salmon platter were a hit. My guests were so impressed, we all felt pampered and special. He was timely, responsive and left my kitchen cleaner than when he arrived. Wish he could move in full time!
Chef Justin and his crew were AH-mazing! From before my event, during and after, he was very responsive, professional, great chef, and pleasant to work with. This last trait is critical when you consider how much pressure is on everyone to provide great food on a very strict timeline. He allowed enough time to get everything done for 65 guests in my home. His crew of two other chefs and 3 servers were as professional and great to be around as Chef Justin. Everyone worked nonstop to ensure a beautiful evening. The food was delicious. From the appetizers to the entrees and creative sides, every dish was tastefully seasoned and beautifully presented and served. The dishes reflected the current fresh vegetables available in local farmers' markets, making everything that much more tasty. My guests couldn't stop gushing about how amazing the food was. What more could a host ask for? Would I hire them again? Absolutely!

He was very helpful and worked with me on creating a personalized menu for my special day. The food was also incredible and all my guest were so impressed by his cooking and the presentation of the food. I would love to hire him again for future events!
I’d never had a party where I hired a chef but what a fantastic experience. Chef Justin took over my kitchen and made an amazing Mexican menu and the dishes were made from fresh ingredients and my 70 guests were so impressed! Just all in all a wonderful afternoon! Thank you Chef Justin!
