Chef Coleman is very easy To work with. He's very professional and responsive. I was very worried about hiring someone here on TT because of prior horrible experience but after talking to him he reassured me that about their service and the quality of course. Chef Pete is the best! He catered a party for 50 senior executives and they raved about the food. His staff was amazing. And the bartenders made the most delicious cocktails !! Highly recommend.
Hired Chef Pete's team for my dad's surprise birthday dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone loved it!! It was the best experience not having to worry about anything during the evening. They brought their own dishes, serve ware and glassware that made it so easy. Will definitely be hiring his team again for a future event!
Chef Pete made one of most delicious meals we have ever had for my husbands 40th Birthday for 8 of us. I told him we were not picky and make whatever he loves to make and each course was incredible! These are just a few of the photos!
When we looked at the reviews, many of which were 5 stars, we thought did we score and what will the quality of food would be given that due to timing we could not do a tasting. Chef Coleman stated that we would not be disappointed in light of his high level rating (not in condescending way … but more of a trust me). Even though we hired him, we still were wondering if the reviews were legitimate and/or realistic. Well, all I can say is that the reviews are more than legit because we are adding our 5 star review. Chef Coleman was responsive and happily adjusted the Private Chef Menu for our wedding reception that was reflective of the bounty of the local fresh and organic produce, seafood, meat and poultry. The people who attended our reception is still raving about the 5 course dinner in addition to the many different appetizers. However, putting the dinner together did not come without trial and tribulations that Chef Coleman had to deal with July 30th. He had to overcome the high 90 degree heat even at 5pm which a precipitated a rolling blackout that affected our reception location as well as the surrounding area. This power failure for a good hour and a half occurred right in the heart of preparing dinner. With his skills he was able to pivot and adjust as needed until power came back on. It did not affect the quality of the dinner. His crew was phenomenal in the wine service, dinner and the cleanup of the private residence that our reception was held at. I now have a go to Chef for further events. Thank you so much Chef for making our special day even more special, Robert and Cecilia

Absolutely amazing experience. Chef Pete made our girls weekend absolutely perfect. Food was impeccable. The foodies in the group who are used to incredible food in cities like NYC were blown away by the menu and food. From the salad, soup, entree and dessert, each bite was devoured. We were stuffed but because the food was so good, couldn’t stop! If you’re even thinking about it, this is the Chef for gourmet, delicious food!
Chef Pete did a wonderful job for our party of 10. He worked with our budget and menu ahead of time and even threw in some extras on the day of. We would highly recommend him and will definitely use him again if we are in the area!
Loved the food, deserts and service was great. Only improvements would be communicating the schedule and when plates were coming - washing wine glasses at the end of the evening. It’s hard to do when you are a great chef!!!’
Just WOW! From the working on the menu, to understanding my vision and requests to responsiveness and execution- what a fun and flawless evening! I haven’t even gotten to how damn delish the FOOD was! Chef Pete and his team made my birthday party so awesome! Everyone was raving and asking how/ where I found him. It was here and I can’t believe how lucky I was to get him and work with him. Thank you Chef Pete for such an awesome experience and such amazing food! I wish I had more pictures!
He did everything he said he would, and more. Could not have asked for a better chef. His assistant, Michelle, helped me so much. Excellent appetizers, dinner and dessert. Everyone went back for seconds and thirds! Truly a successful evening. Highly recommend!
Pete and his team did a fantastic job for us as we celebrated two milestone birthdays with family and friends. He prepared a thoughtful and complex menu which was served and plated beautifully. He arrived and took over our kitchen and his staff set the table and manned the bar, and if not for the delicious leftovers, you would have never known that there was a party at our house; they cleaned up the tables and decor in the yard and tidied the kitchen completely. While this was a one-off event for us, I would love the opportunity to hire Pete for a future party!

I hired Chef Pete to cook a French-style meal for a 12 person dinner party at my house. Pete cooked one of the most epic and memorable meals I've ever had. Every bite was delicious and he had a number of really interesting flavor combinations that were both unexpected yet addicting. Our guests were talking about the food for days after the event and my mouth is still watering just thinking about it. Pete was easy to work with leading up to the event - he threw out a bunch of menu suggestions and we altered a bit based on food preferences/allergies among the guest list - he was very accommodating to suggestions and customized the experience to what I was looking for (for example doing family style instead of plated dishes). I also felt that his price was reasonable - and felt that even more so after tasting his food! He was also extremely organized in his cooking. Much of the prep work was done beforehand; he showed up an hour and a half before service to finish the cooking and plate the dishes. He was very respectful of our house and cleaned up after himself. Bottom line, if you love great food, you should definitely hire Chef Pete. I will certainly be hiring him again in the future.
The whole experience with Pete Coleman was fantastic. He sent me a menu that looked delicious and was reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of food. He tweked the menu a little for my particular requests. There was no written contract, just an internet "handshake". The food was ready on time, was in fact delicious and there were a fair amount of leftovers of the main courses. All of my guests were raving and happy.
We looked at 5 other vendors before fortunately crossing paths with Chef Pete. He is amazing. Professional. Great listener. Awesome ability to create organic, fresh, and delicious combinations instead of the same old fair you get at all weddings. All guests were happy; including the vegans.
