We recently hired Chef Stef for a birthday dinner with friends and were so happy with the experience! Booking was extremely easy, Leah his manager was responsive and super helpful. Night of, Chef Stef was right on time, prepared a great meal with hors d’oeuvres and cleaned up the entire kitchen on his way out. The food was amazing and his service was top notch! Would absolutely hire his services again.

Chef Stef is a Hudson Valley based chef and caterer serving the tri-state area, and Multi-Year Hudson Valley Magazine's Best Private Chef/Caterer. Chef Stef brings the restaurant experience to you, so you don't need to leave your home or rental. Chef Stef not only handles the cooking but the table setting and cleanup as well. You also get your choice of napkin color (10 different to choose from) and custom printed menus (option to have a custom header). The menus I prepare for all of my services are created from scratch. I work with the client/host to create a menu for their event or meal that highlights their culinary preferences, and accommodates any allergies and/or dietary restrictions there may be. I do this through the use of an online questionnaire that you will be asked to fill out. My pricing includes the cost of goods, travel and sales tax. Additional costs only incurred for special requests, specialty food items and optional wine or beer pairing. I will outline all additional costs in your proposal. In addition, I also offer full service and drop off catering services.

We had a fantastic experience with Chef Stef. The booking process was straightforward, we had complete flexibility with the menu, and he was very agreeable to catering to any specific dietary needs. He prepared a 4 course Italian meal for our group of 13 girls for a bachelorette and everyone loved it! He was on time (and very patient with us when we were late) and everything was exactly as discussed. The food was delicious, portions generous, and he left the kitchen even cleaner than it was before. Highly recommend for a fantastic experience!!
Chef Stef was incredibly professional and friendly. The food was amazing. I will definitely be stealing his recipe for the crudo! I'm obsessed with that sauce. The charred broccoli was some of the best broccoli I have had. I'm also going to try and replicate that! We had the shrimp and grits in chili oil and I can't get over how well the flavors paired. His pick for wine was superb and really complemented our dishes well. My wife is already talking about having him back for her birthday. Looking forward to trying his other dishes!

Chef Stef cooked an amazing bachelorette brunch for our group of 11 girls this past weekend! He was very responsive and accommodating during the planning process and the food was delicious!!! It was the perfect way to start our Sunday and celebrate the bride-to-be, I would 100 percent recommend him!

This review is long overdue, I just couldn't write it until I got my photos uploaded, which I finally did! Chef Stef was amazing, it was my first in home chef experience, he was kind, food was delicious, and you wouldn't even know that he was there from the kitchen afterwards! Everything was perfect and really made my 33rd birthday special. Highly recommend him for any occasion. We chose a lot of hearty courses and it was just as delicious the next day!
