Chef Gerard was absolutely incredible and the highlight of my night. I hired him for my 30th birthday for a dinner party of 12 people. It was below zero degrees and a 24-hour snowstorm but Chef Gerard still showed up and showed out. Prior to the evening he spent time getting to know my and my likes/dislikes to curate and incredible menu paired with drinks per course. The food was phenomenal. Some of the best I’ve had in Chicago. Every single guest was blown away. I would highly recommend Chef Gerard for your next event!
Chef Gerard was absolutely excellent! His menu choices were stop on from our conversation with great inventiveness. The food was delicious and the party a big success!!
Chef was incredible to work with! It was my first time hosting and he took the calmest approach to create a menu that was on theme and curated to the person that we were celebrating. He communicated with me from start to finish. Most importantly, the food was the star of the show and everyone talked about how amazing it was! I would hire him again and again! Can’t recommend him enough!

Chef Gerard was easy to work with- very responsive and offered great options. He provided food for a girls night get together. Everything was well prepared and very tasty. One thing I would suggest as someone with a gluten sensitivity- don’t pack GF items with wheat based items. My sensitivity is mild, but that could be problematic for someone with a lower tolerance for gluten. Overall, good experience. I will hire him again.
Absolutely marvelous!!!! He cooked this brunch for my bachelorette party. Me and my friends sat around in our PJs and we're served an incredible five course meal with mimosas. It was just wonderful the food was Exquisite the displays were professional. Such great quality ingredients flavors out of control good. Would absolutely hire him again for any occasion. I wish he could cater my wedding in Uganda.

Chef Gerard provided a truly 5-star private dinner for a birthday party at my home. The food was spectacular and I'm still thinking about the delicious surf and turf and chocolate sin dessert....just incredible. I loved that everything had great flavor and worked well together and nothing was overwhelming. Just perfect. The presentation was elegant and the personal menus were beautiful. Thank you for making the event so easy for me (the host) and a wonderful, culinary delicacy for the group. Chef Gerard was a pleasure to work with.

We could not be happier with the event that Gerard and team catered for us. He was incredibly responsive when I put the quote request out on Thumbtack. He worked collaboratively with us to the create the right menu for our vibe and theme, a birthday. Omg the food was incredible! Those jalapeño poppers changed our lives. As did the skewers. Oh. And the dessert. Dang...we’re debating what our favorite dish was!! Everyone was blown away by how good it was and how much we got for the money. Fun, friendly, and they even cleaned the kitchen and did the dishes. Is there an option for over 5 stars?! We’ll hire ChefBnbEats again for our next event. Gerard did a great job for my party. He arrived when he said he would. He prepared everything at my home. His menu is awesome. The food was delicious. I definitely recommend him and I'll definitely hire him again.
I was having a giant breakfast/brunch. It was the first anniversary of my husband's birthday after he died. A hard day for me. Gerard and his partner Stephanie were top notch. The kitchen is small, lots of people around; it was not easy. They performed beautifully. The food was fantastic. He offered a generous, varied menu: ham, fritata, potatoes, oatmeal bake waffles: everything. And everything as delicious. He got rave reviews. And I just enjoyed my guests. A great experience.
Planning, flexibility, organization and communication left no question unanswered. Everything was taken care of and expectations were exceeded!
