My name is ChefShain & I am excited to work with you! I offer Private Chef & full-service, all-inclusive culinary packages for private parties and events. My cooking style is New American. Bold flavors and techniques with multicultural influence. Offerings are 3 courses, 4 courses, curated tasting menus and custom culinary packages. I also specialize in preparing gluten-free, dairy free & vegan fare as well. Located in Houston with extended service areas across Texas. *Rates vary per service, guest count, Holidays & location. *Reservation requests require at least one week notice. *Reservation requests with less than one week notice are charged at an expedited rate. *Reservation requests with less than 3 days notice is considered a “Rush Job” and appropriate fees apply to last minute requests. *All potential clients are required to do an intake consultation via phone call. *A 50% Deposit is required to confirm all reservations.

Having Mr. Shain Fike by my side on this special day truly alleviated my stress, especially since I wasn't familiar with cooking that type of meat. His expertise really shone through, as he crafted not just delicious steaks but also meticulously arranged every element on the plate from the delightful crème fraîche and chimichurri to the pickled onions and the salmon paired with spinach and cheese. The presentation was both simple and elegant, exactly what I wanted showcasing that being a chef goes beyond just combining ingredients; it’s about infusing each dish with passion and creativity. Mr. Fike even shared some fantastic ideas for my salmon and explained the various cuts of steak to me. I wholeheartedly recommend him,he is incredibly professional, genuinely passionate about food, and wonderfully easy to work with. Blessings!
Chef Shain is the ultimate professional. We had a dinner party with about 30 people attending and asked him to create a Mediterranean style menu. We had a couple short phone calls so he could get a feel for what we wanted and make sure we were all on the same page. He came to our house on time and brought an assistant with him. He then prepared and created the most amazing dishes. For each course there were multiple options and the food was amazing. We could not be happier with the experience and will use him again.

We had a small dinner party of 10 for our business Christmas party, Chef Shain & Sam were absolutely wonderful! I was responsible for planning the menu, which I had never done before, I was a bit uneasy about making dinner selections for 10 (mostly picky eaters). Once we made the decision to hire Chef Shain my confidence grew, he was so gracious and patient with me the entire time! Due to Chef Shain's attentiveness throughout the planning process, I admit I had high expectations for the night of our event. Beginning to end we would not have changed a thing, from the introduction, the quality and taste of the food, the presentation, as well as the kitchen being left in immaculate condition- Chef Shain & Sam played a primary roll in making our night a memorable celebration.
I booked Chef Shain for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday dinner for two. Chef Shain was super responsive and willing to work with the client. He incorporated all of my suggestions and crafted a custom menu based on our dietary restrictions/preferences. He was super punctual, professional and did a great job on the food prep, presentation and serving. The food was delicious too! Would definitely book again!

I needed a surprise birthday cake and packed meals for my husband’s boat birthday party. Chef Shain was sooo helpful and accommodated all of our requests: low carb, lactose free, sugar free. He was super responsive and exceeded all expectations when it came to foodand packaging. It was tasty, it was absolutely beautifully packed, and we all had such a nice time. So happy he moved to the west coast. Sorry NYC. Can’t wait to work together again.
