I schedule an appointment with this company and they rescheduled after the appointment window for the next day. They called the next day and tried to reschedule the time, from 9am to 12pm window to 3pm to 6pm window, when I refused a tech (Michael) showed up within an hour, he was very unprofessional, acted like I was inconveniencing him, in a big rush, the tech was at my home for about 30 minutes, put a new cover on my chimney which I supplied and which the tech told me was only temporary and that I needed to buy a more expensive one, then cleaned the chimney, did not put down any covering on the fireplace, left a mess, leaving black soot on the fireplace stoop and the floor as well as leaving parts of his equipment, did not sweep or clean up anything, the soot stained the fireplace stoop so now I have to deep clean and resurface it. Additionally, the tech left my old chimney cover on the front lawn when a garbage can was just near by. And to make it even worse he charged me $649, what a rip off. I will never use this company again and I would not recommend them to anyone. Update, now the chimney cover Michael put on chimney has come off and I have rain pouring right down into my fireplace. I am extremely upset with this situation and want a full refund of my $649!

They Can’t
Clean, thorough and easy

They came out to look at what needed to be done. I emailed them 2 days later to find out the status. They said that they were not able to handle the work of replacing the vinyl covering on the outside of the chimney. I found it odd that something that seems fairly simple couldn’t be done by “Chimney Pros” but alas I guess we will continue to try and find someone who has the skills to assist us with getting this work done
I was hesitant to try another chimney sweep because I've had too many odd experiences. I mentioned this to the representative and asked to speak with the person who will be coming out. She had "Ben" call me and also waived the initial inspection fee. Well I'm not sure who Ben is, but he did not come out. Two guys showed up in a pickup trunk honking at me. They hardly spoke english and were very gruff. I showed them cracks in my firebox and he said it's fine, nothing to worry about. They then inspected my fireplace by shining an iphone light up there and snapping a pic or two and saw that it was clean. He said no problems. Then he looked at the cracks again and said it actually is a problem but he has a product he will apply and it will only be $200. Well, I'm not dumb enough to pay $200 for someone to put putty in my firebox so I refused. He kept pushing and said he'd put the camera up too and give a more in depth inspection. He was quite persistent and my husband and I had to both ask him to leave a few times. They said "ok we will have to call the office about the this" and stood intimidatingly on the porch. I had to tell him several times that Amber waived the service fee and I was supposed to be given a clear estimate of any potential work to be done. They kept standing on the porch calling probably hoping I'd be intimidated enough to pay the fee. Finally I just left them up there and they finally got the hint and drove off. Another odd chimney sweep experience, and a complete waste of mine and their time. Proceed with caution.
