Did a good job and was done quickly
They sent a sketchy conman who tried to charge us $600 to repair a pilot light, without any parts or labor breakdown. When 6 told him it was too much, he dropped it to $300. Finally, I paid him $70 to just go away. Bad vibes and a bad referral. Will never use Thumbtack again.
We had not had our chimney cleaned in the 24 years. We’ve lived in this house. We were very impressed with the punctuality, the professionalism, and the amazing work they did on our fireplace. I highly recommend them.
Leo was great! He explained all the challenges that our 40 year old fireplace had and gave us options for repair. I recommend getting your fireplace checked out and I would recommend Chimney Sweep Pros to do the work, ask for Leo! He is great!
Leo was a great fireplace technician coming from a place of not knowing anything about chimneys or fireplaces. He had great recommendations on how to make the fireplace easier to use, safer, pigeon free, and also look better. Leo was very patient with me as I had many questions as I am a first time homebuyer. Thank you again for your great work!!
This is scam!! The technician sealed ‘cracks’ and vacuumed the chimney before attempting to fix what was actually broken. Then he said it would be 3k to fix the fireplace. He then charged 600 dollars for his “labor and completed work”. The fireplace was never fixed. When I tried to call back to query the charge, only a virtual assistant answered. I was not able to speak to anyone. I get the sense that the technician has no training or is an amateur. Beware!!
This was a total scam. They showed up and told me they could fix my gas fireplace for 650.00, when I asked him what he was fixing and what was broke, he is stuttered and didn't know what to tell me. He said he needed to call the office and send them a video so he stepped outside and then came back in and told me that he needed to clean my gas line out and replace some electrical wires. He went from 650 to 400 to 350 to 300 to 250 . I agreed at 250 and he messed around with my fireplace. For about fifteen minutes, then told me he couldn't fix it that the whole thing needed to be replaced for 2500. However, he never cleaned the gas line out or replaced the electrical, which is what he said was wrong with it. I was charged a service and he left. I will not be using them again and do not recommend them
