About Citizen Builders
Citizen Builders is a Salt Lake City–based general contractor specializing in high-end custom homes, remodels, commercial tenant improvements, and custom cabinetry. Our work has been recognized by the Salt Lake Parade of Homes, including awards for Craftsmanship, Curb Appeal, and Interior Design. What We Do • High-End Home Remodels • Custom Home Builds • Kitchens & Bathrooms • Additions & Whole-Home Renovations • Custom Cabinetry & Millwork • Built-Ins, Vanities & Specialty Woodwork • Commercial Tenant Improvements Why Citizen We built Citizen around a simple idea: construction should be better. Better communication. Better organization. Better craftsmanship. And a team that takes ownership from the first conversation through the final details. We are relationship-driven, but execution matters just as much. Our team understands how to manage the hundreds of decisions, trades, schedules, and details that go into a successful project while keeping the process clear for our clients. Our in-house custom cabinet and millwork capabilities also allow us to take a project further than a typical general contractor. From full custom kitchens and vanities to built-ins and one-of-a-kind architectural details, we can design, build, finish, and install cabinetry as part of your project or as a standalone service. At the end of the day, our projects are our business cards. We want every home, remodel, commercial space, and cabinet project we complete to be something both our clients and our team are proud to put our name on. Citizen Builders + Citizen Millworks Built different.

Unbelievable experience working with Devin at Rebel Construction! Brought him in to waterproof and tile a new shower addition, and man did he exceed expectations. Responsive communications from start to finish, with great updates following each day of the project. Would recommend to anyone looking for clear expectations on scope of work, with a great finished project.
This contractor was kind enough to admit my project was not in his wheelhouse and that says a lot for the integrity of the company. They were also very quick to respond, so I'm actually going to sneak back when I have my other projects and ask for their help then, just because they were that forthcoming!
I was impressed with every aspect of working with Rebel Construction. From the consistency in communication with Devin to the punctuality and quality work that Jeremy and his crew did! I was so surprised by how quickly they finished this job and how high of a work ethic they have. They are also very personable, which is particularly important to me. I would hire them again in a heartbeat (and fully plan to here soon). ;)
Absolutely recommend working with Devin. He notices the small details and keeps me clued in on every detail. Quality work and gets things done!
We are currently working with Devin and his team on remodeling a bathroom. He and his team have been knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. It took a few vendors I reached out to several weeks to get to my home for a quote, Devin sent me his quote within 24 hours of my request. All in all, a very positive experience. Photos will be added at the end of the project.
I have hired Rebel Construction for a bonus room addition above my garage. The project is underway but I already have so much appreciation and respect for the quality work that’s gone into planning this new space. Communication is constant and I feel very informed and involved through the whole process. Will update to this review when project is complete.
