CJ Woodworking did an amazing job in our home. They installed trim around several windows and doors, closets, baseboards, and crown molding, and got everything done in one day. CJ took measurements ahead of time and prepared everything at his shop, so installation was fast and there was no mess. We had a few tricky areas that needed custom solutions, and everything came out beautifully. The workmanship exceeded our expectations, the pricing was very fair, and we would absolutely use them again. Highly recommend!

For some reason, this pro would not schedule an appointment with me despite that I have over 10 projects! He kept trying to squeeze me in between things he was already doing, and I kept having to say no. At one point, I offered to rush home from a meeting to meet him at 1:30 but his response wasn't a clear yes so I didn't come. He came to my house anyway and waited for me then held it against me and refused to reschedule, saying he was based in Denver despite that he's listed on Thumbtack as being in Connecticut. I don't think he's really available for work here. Too bad as I really need a great finish carpenter/cabinetmaker/woodworker.
CJ was excellent. He turned up on time was clear with his schedule and pricing. The quality of the craftsmanship was perfect. CJ is a truly skilled carpenter and would highly recommend if you’re looking for quality finishing.
CJ and his team are great. Very responsive. Very professional. Had a long list of items including replacing doors, assembling, installing, and making look “built in” both a large book case and a drop spot. Will absolutely use again.
Incredible job! So easy to work with, did everything they could to fix our crazy cabinet problems. Highly recommend.
What an incredible experience working with CJ and his talented team of woodworking craftsman! His quick and reassuring response to a kitchen installation gone wrong resulted in a seamless and stunning reinstallation of my kitchen cabinetry and crown; beautiful beyond my expectations! His men are a pleasure to work with and left the area spotless, managing undiscussed small details just to complete the project. This masterful group takes pride in their work and you will not be disappointed! Thank you CJ and company!!! (see photos)
Couldn’t be happier with the work CJ Woodworking has done- highest of quality, provided updates every step of the way, and delivered ahead of schedule! Traits you rarely come across these days, will work with again for future opportunities.
CJ Woodworking made built in benches and a mantle for my fireplace area, in record time - they came out great and just as discussed. They were careful and diligent, and had great ideas and raised important considerations. Highly recommend.
COMPLETELY transformed my very old coop apartment! CJ 100% cares about his work quality and client happiness. I am over the moon happy and get so many compliments on the work done by anyone that visits. CJ was always very easy to contact throughout the job, always on time and always wanted to ensure everything was done smoothly by staying connected to his crew and myself. CJ and his crew are extremely detail oriented and in fact would follow up with me on finalization of certain things to ensure I approved. I redid all floor, door and window trim, replaced doors, installed crown, wainscoting and CJ built a custom build-in shelving.
Fantastic experience. High quality work, very responsive and fair pricing. Will definitely use again for more projects in the future.
After being burned by so many contractors my wife and I were nervous to start our new project until we hired Cj woodworking. What an amazing experience from beginning to end from day one he was responsive he contacted us non stop with design ideas and timelines of materials arriving and when the work could be started and completed. Him and his crew worked non stop to complete this project the amount of care and detail they put into this project was incredible we were so impressed and happy we choose them, the pictures speak for themselves. Thank you we Look forward to doing more business in the future!
The woodworkers were punctual and professional. In fact, they arrived early to set-up and start working. I was impressed at the speed at which the project progressed. Despite the swift progress, a high quality of work was maintained. When I asked for something to be repositioned, CJ came to ensure it was done properly. He proposed several solutions to a pre-existing problem, providing drawings of the different options. The workers cleaned up at the conclusion and protected the house from any damage. CJ was honest with regards to the scope of his expertise. He provided helpful advice and was readily available for questions. He prioritized the project and ensured the quality from start to finish. It was a pleasure working with the company. I highly recommend them and will be hiring them again in the future!
Amazing from start to finish! CJ Woodworking is knowledgeable, professional, and clean. I am extremely impressed and will use and recommend in the future. 10/10 CJ woodworking!
We loved working with CJ Woodworking. CJ helped us figure out a difficult staircase remodel project with ease. He made us samples and created drawings to make sure we were on the same page. He was very responsive on texts and always showed up on time. Would recommend him to anyone who needs a carpenter. Not sure there is anyone else out there quite like him.
I’d absolutely recommend CJ Woodworking to anyone. The work quality was great. The workers were professional, courteous, and punctual. They installed crown molding in my both my bedrooms, my bathroom, my dinning room & living-room all in one day. They made installation adjustments to account for my uneven ceiling. And their prices are good for the work done. I’d definitely hire them again if I need more work done.
I would definitely hire again for any project! Crown molding that they installed is top notch work! A++ in my book (and I’m picky)
Charliton did a great job installing the crown and floor moulding in my co-op. With the paint job the end product came out great! He had a positive attitude and provided an overall wonderful experience. Highly recommend!
