We are grateful to have found Jake. My son initially struggled with Spanish and really did not enjoy the subject. Jake was incredibly patient and encouraging. We have seen a real difference. My son really enjoy work with him. Highly recommend anyone who needs extra support in Spanish.

About Class with Jake
I’m a full-time tutor with 6+ years of experience and over 5,000 hours working one-on-one with students. I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, where I built a strong academic foundation across math and language. I specialize in: • Math (Algebra through AP Calculus) • Spanish (academic coursework, all levels) • SAT / ACT prep My approach combines structure and engagement. Sessions are focused, efficient, and designed to keep students actively involved. I build strong working relationships with students, which helps maintain momentum and motivation over time, even when material is challenging. Parents often tell me their students actually look forward to our sessions because they’re not only productive, but also enjoyable. I focus on identifying weak points quickly, breaking material into clear systems, and helping students build consistency and confidence. Results include: • Higher SAT/ACT math scores • Significant grade increases in math and Spanish • Increased confidence & motivation I’m always excited to take on new students and help them reach their goals. The progress and results reflected in my reviews speak for themselves!

Jake was a godsend as my son was a bit timid with his Spanish skills. Jake pick up where the teaching system is falling short and helped my son accomplish and overcome his challenges. The overall result was all A’s for this past school year. Highly recommended!!
Amazing tutor! He was so great with our kid who was going through a hard time, so it was significant part of the work. He’s also great at explaining difficult material and is just overall amazing at his job.
He is a very good tutor that takes time with students until they fully understand the topic. He raised my science score from a 25-33!
Jake got my son up to speed quick for a specific exam he needed to pass! He developed rapport with my son and the sessions went smoothly and efficiently. Thank you Jake!
Jake has been great for my sophomore in honors Algebra 2. In just 2 months my son is now getting 90’s and 100’s on tests and quizzes and his overall grade went from 80% to 87%. We are feeling good for upcoming finals. I only wish we started earlier! Also, I had planned to test out more tutors to see who worked best with my son. Jake was the first and my son said he really liked him and no need to keep looking. I definitely recommend.
We have used Jake several times thus far, and he has helped our daughter tremendously each time. He is a great communicator, always on time, and so helpful in explaining areas of confusion in math and working through actual homework problems. We are so grateful to have found Jake.
My son had a low D in his Spanish 2 class when he started working with Jake. He has trended up in grades since then and is now getting As and Bs in his spanish quizzes. He enjoys working with Jake and I appreciate his follow up on their sessions. Highly recommend!!
Jake helped son with his Spanish course tremendously
Jake has helped my daughter, who had been struggling with Spanish 1 as a freshman for most of the year. In a short time he has helped her in ways the teacher has not and cleared up some basics and she is getting much better grades. She likes his style and eagerness to help where she is deficient.
Jake has made such a difference in my son’s Spanish grades! We’ve gone from barely passing to A’s and B’s. Jake is super professional while maintaining a great report with his students. I’m so thankful we found such a great tutor!
Absolutely amazing experience with Jake, very professional and my son gained a lot from the sessions he took.
Working with Jake has been a big highlight in my busy week. Jake does an excellent job of meeting you at your level and working to improve your skills at a pace that works best for you. Jake is great at being welcoming and supportive when it comes to learning skills that are typically difficult to pick up on. I highly recommend selecting Jake as a tutor. I will be continuing to work with Jake into the future.
Jake is a friendly , smart tutor and helped my son with his Spanish class. He is proficient in his subject and very flexible in accommodating our request with sessions late in the evenings and weekends. He responds to our texts quickly and make sure to work within our timelines. I will highly recommend Jake for Spanish.
Jake has been invaluable for my daughter's confidence with math. Since working with him, her math grades have significantly improved and she is eager to do well! The extra bonus is that, once she started feeling better about math, her motivation for her other subjects has also significantly improved. She looks forward to meeting with Jake and thoroughly enjoys how he engages with her. I wish we had found him sooner. He is wonderful! Thank you Jake!
Jake is a great tutor. We use him for both of our children in high school geometry and algebra. The kids like him because of how he is able to adapt to what each person needs, he’s easy to understand, and it shows in their overall grade which have improved by one grade level or more. I would definitely recommend using Jake as your tutor.
Jake has been amazing with our son’s math tutoring. He is patient, and takes time to walk through the concepts at a good pace. Even through zoom they have been able to efficiently cover all of the topics my son needs help with.
Jake has been incredibly helpful getting my son through the confusing and harder aspects of his math course. Tutoring at Mathnasium in Las Vegas was nothing compared to Jake’s one on one with my son. I highly recommend him, and we look forward to continuing tutoring with him. Thanks Jake!
