The worst deep cleaning ever, oven had oven cleaner in it. Had to clean it before I could cook. Wanted the blinds cleaned, they only did partial. Dust on areas that should have been dusted, behind my TV stand never touched ! Deeply disappointed. I was not going to write a bad review, but I chose them because of the reviews.
The crew came without a mop so spent most of the time cleaning the floor with a rag which took forever. They went overtime and still did not clean the windowsills, trim or shade as they said they would. They tried to claim the house was very dirty even though we had cleaned and organized before they came. The team on site did not speak English at all and just left at the end.
CleanLand charges the upper end of average for their services and they are decent at cleaning. Oksana and her team were prompt, professional and hard working. ***That said, I gave 2 stars because: The kitchen floor was cleared out and was free of some caked on debris, but there were missed portions, including between the cabinet.** I think if you only want them to do a portion of a room (ie. 'just the floors'), don't expect them to pull out shelves/appliances and get into nooks...even if you pay the 'deep cleaning' rate. Further, for the full deep cleaning of the bathroom: we have some water damage I wasn't expecting the team to be able to get rid of, however, I splashed something on the wall today and in an attempt to get it off, noticed that there is a visible "clean" line, where I wiped, and the dirty wall that was left uncleaned by the team.*** **Organization and clutter (if you have a lot of 'things,' are a collector, etc) will present a major challenge.** If you have issues with how best to utilize space or categorizing things, you should choose a different service. If you know exactly what you want, where you want it and how you want it to look, you have to tell them and they'd do it. Because we are collectors, there was a decent amount of stuff that needed to be organized and removed for the cleaning to occur. This presented an issue for what exactly we wanted. We provided rubbermaid bins to assist with organization, and that helped them a bit with the bedroom/office closet. Understand that organization does not mean categorization, though. Random things were placed in random bins, just as in the bathroom, random things were placed in random places. It'll be a challenge to find things in the places that were 'organized'. For example, in our family of 4, two toothbrushes were together in one place by sunscreen and nasal strips, while the other two were in another place near hair products. Along with a language barrier, what was supposed to be a one bdrm, one bathrm, kitchen, living and dining room deep cleaning turned into a one bdrm, one bathrm, kitchen-floor only job, which took over 3 hours, though the initial quote was 2 hours. To be fair, I felt that 2 hours was an underestimate for the task. The living room and dining room were untouched. I think if we kept the task as it was initially, it would have easily been an 8hr, maybe even 10hr task. We requested that the team stop after doing the one room, bathrm and kitchen floor, however, because of the things mentioned above. We asked for help assembling a futon (just screwing legs onto the base), and her team did it, but I would not recommend them for large furniture assembly tasks. If you do, you will need to provide the tools, and maybe some instruction.
Oksana’s team was amazing. They did an excellent job. They even got into the hidden places to get dust you can’t see. I will hire them again. Highly recommend!
