When you message us, Thumbtack charges each vendor a $45 fee regardless of if you book me or not. Help me save some money! If you are just browsing/shopping I totally get it. Just google either DJ Jay Storm in NYC or Cloud 9 Favors and we can chat. I know how stressful finding a DJ/ Wedding Officiant can be. I got married four years ago and we couldn't find the perfect Wedding Officiant or DJ. Its why I now do both. I love helping other couples navigate through the process while having some fun. I also DJ birthdays, corporate events and bridal showers. I'm not like other DJs/Emcees. I listen to what you want which is why we meet twice before your event/weddings. I want to know what type of music you want, how you want me to handle song requests, what games you may want to play and how to pronounce the names of people participating in your event. I don't do boring events. So, if you're NOT looking to have fun or someone to be interactive with your guests, you might want to go with another DJ. I'm also a Meteorologist so I can also advise you on when the best times for pictures are and if your ceremony should be moved up or back. Average DJ package is $800 for events and $1,200 for weddings. My minimum to do any gig is $600. I'm willing to travel to NJ, NY State and Long Island however we'd have to tack on a travel fee because have you seen the price of gas lately? Last year, we did 78 weddings. Not one of my clients has ever said they thought they wasted money. In fact, many say for the level of service I provide, I should charge more. I always say you get what you pay for. So yes there are cheaper DJs out there. However, none of them will match the level of responsiveness that I provide, the attention to detail and the experience. I care about what the final product will look like. You're not just another number to me. You are unique and I want to make sure your wedding reflects that. Let's talk soon!

Jason is an exceptional and excellent DJ. His energy and emceeing were so critical to the fun atmosphere of our wedding! We were impressed with Jason's planning process. We met 3 times over the course of our planning process and Jason was very detail oriented. We discussed the timeline, playlist, logistics, and many other topics that I didn't even know needed to be discussed! It was obvious that Jason is very experienced and wanted to be fully prepared for the event. I would highly recommend Jason to anyone looking for a DJ!
Jason helped emcee/dj our sons 9th bday party at a local bball gym and all went great. Booking was fast and easy, communication was easy/seamless, and all of the kids had a fantastic time.

I highly recommend DJ Cloud 9. His thoughtful approach to curate the playlist, as well as his ability to read the crowd to set the right tone made our reception great. We had 2 planning sessions prior to the event in which we discussed the scope, tone, do’s/don’ts to ensure that the evening flowed smoothly. DJ Cloud 9 was great on-site to help switch between DJ’ing and emcee’ing. He also showed up on time and well prepared.

Jason surprised me with how efficient and detailed he was making things very easy and transparent- his calm go with the flow personality was comforting for me and settled any anxiety I was starting to feel during the event! Jason was amazing! Couldn’t have asked for a better officiant. We hired Jason maybe 3 weeks prior to our wedding as our original officiant cancelled on us last minute. Even though it was a sure down frame he got right to work with scheduling meetings so he can get to know us and what type of ceremony we wanted. Within 2 weeks we got all of our sessions in and a draft of the ceremony. I truly appreciated how fast and responsive he was. The ceremony was everything we wanted it to be, relaxed and funny. He was definitely the perfect man for the job! Thank you for everything especially thank you for dancing for me right before we walked out to put a smile back on my face lol
