I called to obtain an estimate for a property that is being remodeled and was told that they dont help with properties that are new construction or being remodeled...I have never heard of this before, and my assumption is this they target existing home owners with higher prices...

We had a rather large mixed project of renovation and basement build, which included just about every craft trade; and Comfenergy pulled all the pieces together for us. They did a good job cleaning up along the way and afterwards, we also received a certificate for a cleaning service. Comfenergy kept the job site safe throughout my project. Since we were still living/working in the house during the project, there was constant communication to make sure everyone knew what was going on. We were in constant communication via email, phone and text with the John and all of the workers. I am satisfied with the quality of materials used. All of the materials were of great quality. I am satisfied with the quality of the workmanship. With this large renovation there were very few things that needed attention, and Comfenergy did a great job addressing them to make sure the final product was to our satisfaction and remained professional throughout my project. John and all of the workers were very professional, realistic and organized. Expectations were managed upfront and each part of the project was executed a balanced order. We had several phases to our project to ensure life balance during the construction. Our schedule was flexible and they worked with us every step of the way to get things done safely and correctly. There was a lot of work and scheduling that went in to our project. And so far with some of the hot/humid days that we've had, the house is comfortable and their are no signs of duct sweating in the walls. John went above and beyond for our family to make sure everything was done right so we won't have any future issues. He treated us more like family than customers, and made sure we were happy with everything. Comfenergy came up with a great plan and they were flexible with us when we wanted to add things along the way. We were in constant communication and all of my thoughts, ideas, concerns, questions were received, thoughtfully discussed and executed well.
Comfenergy did a very thorough consultation and showed us many areas we could improve. We elected to do our attic insulation, have a bathroom vent redirected, and update the insulation in our unfinished basement through them. They got the job done very quickly.
Don't give potential clients a runaround. You should be able to give ranges of quotes.
Everything went well with the Sound Proofing of the CFO Office. She has been so impressed with the silence she now leaves her door cracked just a little to hear what is going on outside now. LOL go figure.
Comfenergy did an amazing job. The crew was extremely professional, courteous, and efficient. The work was done in the promised time-frame. In addition, the flooring added to the attic is beyond what I expected in appearance and capacity.
The performed most of the work, but left my garrage in a complete mess. They initially had plastic sheeting covering my shelving. By the time the left, I'm stuck with hours of work to clean all the sheetrock dust/broken pieces off of all my stuff. Combine that with the unfinished drywall replacement in my garrage ceiling and I recommend my neighbors call someone else. I'll try to post pictures tonight.
We hired Comfenergy to encapsulate our crawlspace and are pleased with the result. The sales representative provided us the necessary information without all that up sell sales gimmick which we appreciate greatly, and the crew who did our crawl space were polite, efficient and great.
