While I did not have George do any work for me he did provide some real helpful tips on how to set tile, tile edging and the mosaic in our shower niche. I watched a good number of how-to You Tune videos but the tips he provided were nothing I’d seen on You Tube and his tips were a real time saver and, I believe, made for a better project. He was easy to work with and understand. I would you George for a future project based on my experience with him.

George responded to my request within five minutes on a Sunday evening and came to assess my kitchen backsplash project with his tile installer at 8:00 the next morning. He explained the work clearly and provided a quote. His team did beautiful work—the tile lines are even, and the corners and exposed edges are carefully finished. They protected my floors and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. George was responsive, professional, and easy to work with. I’m very happy with my new backsplash and would definitely recommend Commonwealth Restoration.
Did a great job
Did a great job.
We have a short-term rental and it had an unfinished shower in the basement that was an eyesore and essentially unusable. George snuck us in last-minute and worked until midnight to get it sealed and tiled for us! Such an improvement and really adds to our guests' experience. Thanks!
George did 2 bath rooms and 1 powder room at our house. It was a fairly large project and George got it done in a reasonable amount of time and on budget. He worked really well with us changing things as we needed. He was also able to replace our water softener that had gone bad, he adjusted his schedule to make this work as well. His best quality is his responsiveness to email or calls to answer even the smallest questions or concerns. Would definitely recommend him for small or large projects.
George helped us with our kitchen tile backsplash design. Very experienced with house renos / repairs. He did a good job with our backsplash for a very reasonable price! He even helped us with repair details unrelated to kitchen backsplash—we will be hiring George for other projects around our house in the future.
He told me he would come on Tuesday after 3pm. I asked him to text me before he heads out, and then he tells me that Thumbtack billed him for $115 (which was inappropriate for him to tell me, but OK, not a biggie, though I told him that doesn't make sense b/c I haven't even hired him yet - he was supposed to come by to give me a bid for the work he could do). Anyway, just a no show.
They will be my “go-to” for all future projects. I’ve been so impressed. They are friendly, are easy to communicate with, and are open to ideas. They are working on adding a shower to my downstairs laundry/bathroom area and changing that space up a bit. We’ve been able to break it down into three smaller phases to match my budget and Phase 1 exceeded my expectations. They are able to do everything needed (plumbing, framing, drywall, etc). Highly recommend them!
George was able to help fit us in on short notice which we really appreciated! He did a great job communicating a clear timeline and the work was high quality. We could tell he takes pride in his work and values his customers. Appreciate the help!
Commonwealth did an absolutely fantastic job taking care of a project that I had been putting off for quite some time. They quoted a reasonable price and communicated clearly and effectively at various points throughout the process to ensure that I knew what was going on and how much it was going to cost. I would highly recommend them for anybody who needs work done on their home or business!
George and his team were great! Very helpful and super polite!
He did a great job on my backsplash!
I had a siding repair job that George took care of for me, and he did an excellent job. I was very pleased with the final result. He went above and beyond, and he was easy to work with.
Super professional. Great person to work with. Will 100% recommend
However we were worried that he would not share up a week ahead because we didn’t hear from him until the day before.
George installed a storm door on short notice. Great quality work.
