Chef Danielle was absolutely wonderful to work with from start to finish! She made the entire process incredibly easy and stress-free. She listened to what I was looking for, stayed within my budget, and still provided exceptional service without compromising on quality. Her communication was impeccable, she was responsive, organized, accommodating, and made sure every detail was taken care of. It was such a pleasure working with someone who is not only talented, but also genuinely cares about creating a great experience for her clients. I would highly recommend Chef Danielle and would absolutely work with her again!

Danielle has been an extraordinary gift to our family during an incredibly difficult time. I hired her to prepare meals for my sister’s household while they navigate a serious medical crisis, and even in the first week, she has gone far beyond anything I could have expected. Danielle is remarkably thoughtful, dependable, and intuitive. She handles the planning and details without adding anything to our family’s already overwhelming mental load. She took the time to understand our family’s circumstances and needs and has approached everything with genuine compassion and flexibility. Most importantly, her food is absolutely amazing. Everything she has prepared so far has been delicious, varied, and thoughtfully seasoned. Her meats are incredibly tender and moist, and everything from her homemade salsas to her hummus has been exceptional. My mom keeps commenting that Danielle gets the seasoning exactly right. We have been blown away by the quality and variety of the food, especially in such a short time, and we are excited to see what else she creates. Having delicious, nourishing food available has already provided tremendous comfort and relief to our family. Danielle notices what is needed, figures it out, and handles it with kindness and compassion. She has made it possible for our family to focus its time and energy where they are needed most. Danielle is not only an exceptionally talented personal chef; she is an exceptional human being. I am incredibly grateful for the care and compassion she has already shown our family, and I could not recommend her more highly.

I had the idea of hiring a private chef for my mom’s 70th birthday while we were staying at an Airbnb in Connecticut, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Chef Danielle and her co-host, Rashad, from Cook Something LLC. They were absolutely incredible from beginning to end. The communication was so easy, friendly, and effortless. From our very first text conversation, Danielle made me feel like I was talking to a friend rather than someone I had never met. She has such an impressive culinary background, and it absolutely showed throughout our dinner. The entire experience was unforgettable. We loved learning about their company, watching each beautifully presented dish come together, and, of course, eating every bite. The food was phenomenal. One of my favorite moments was when Danielle remembered that I had casually mentioned I love matzo ball soup. She surprised my entire family by making homemade matzo ball soup, and it meant so much to me. It’s those thoughtful little details that made the evening feel so personal. When Danielle asked about our food preferences, I told her we eat pretty healthy, love colorful salads, and that my mom’s favorite dessert is anything chocolate. Within just two days, she created a beautifully designed custom menu that was beyond anything I imagined. We had two refreshing salads, a bruschetta hummus that was absolutely to die for (seriously, I could have eaten the entire bowl myself! which I did when I got home from the AirBnB that night), flavorful homemade skewers that were perfect for a summer celebration, delicious sides, and an incredible chocolate dessert. She even brought a birthday candle so we could sing “Happy Birthday”. She also prepared a completely separate meal for the kids and not just “kid-sized” portions! There was enough delicious food for everyone and then some. The homemade empanadas were a huge hit, and two days later I’m still happily eating her amazing tortellini salad. She even matched the plateware to our décor! They arrived exactly on time, helped us take all of our silly family photos, laughed with us, and made everyone feel completely comfortable as if they had been celebrating with our family for years. Speaking of food…I’ve never heard my mom say she was full. She has what we jokingly call a bottomless pit for a stomach, and somehow Danielle managed to fill her up! By the end of the evening, all of us were completely stuffed. I was so full that I couldn’t even think about eating breakfast the next morning. There are so many little moments I’m sure I’m forgetting because the entire evening was such a blur of laughter, amazing food, and unforgettable memories. I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking. If you’re thinking about hiring a private chef for a special occasion, don’t hesitate. Cook Something LLC made my mom’s 70th birthday one of the most memorable celebrations our family has ever had. Danielle and Rashad exceeded every expectation, and I truly hope we get the chance to hire them again.
