About Cool Hand Electric
The Owners, Luke Strange, and Kristen Strange grew up in the Waxahachie and Red Oak area. They worked together at Owens Family Restaurant. They fell in love and started a family. They started Cool Hand Electric in 2015 and it has slowly grown from there. They have enjoyed building this business and look forward to many more years.

Very thorough and professional. For an existing system tech was very well versed on code, safety, and compliance and was able to quote work in a manner of need,should, want. I personally don't believe any company should ask what others are charging before being able to quote a job, so that portion of the call out wasn't going to go any further but I am confident that they will be able to maintain the A/C system as needed.
I fired the two person team that was dispatched after over an hour of being on-site without giving me a quote for the work I requested. instead they told me what they were going to do and that was start with a "safety inspection". I didn't order that. I asked to have two fixtures installed. frustrated after an hour I advised Michah, the lead licensed electrician, that he had 15 minutes to get me a quote for the job I posted on Thumbtack. After 20 minutes I went outside to their van and told them that I no longer needed their services because they failed to meet my timeline for the quote to do the work I asked. he said that he had it. it was exactly 2 lines. $867 was the quote for both or $216 for 1. I declined and asked them to leave my property. spoke to a supervisor who defended their actions and said "that's what customers want". Cool Hand Electric... put the customer first and answer the question for the reason that was posted first. then, offer the additional service as an option. Here's how the "safety inspection" conversation went "I'm going to do a safety inspection of your whole house. when I'm finished I can share it with you or keep it to myself" WHAT????? Who says that kind of stuff?
Bella and Shiloh were excellent helping me with my needs and my home. I would recommend them to anyone that needs Home improvement services.

$802 is too much money for the job that was done. The electrician was good at his job, but for replacing one 30 amp breaker, and the time spent (roughly 40 minutes), that's more than some earn in an entire week.
Did a great job wiring up a new light and power in a closet remodel, also recommended other things that needed updating.
The electrician showed up on time and explained everything at the start of the appointment. He did a thorough inspection of my home’s electrical systems and summarized the findings in a way that I could easily understand. He quickly completed the requested repair to my satisfaction.
Cool Hand Electric was very professional in all aspects of their work, from communication to the timeliness of their arrival. They were very thorough on their work and provided explanations for each issues identified and solutions. I would highly recommend them and their great customer services.
