Cosby Welding and Design is a mobile welding service only, providing custom metalworking solutions at a reasonable cost. We perform welding and metalworking services ( no wood involved)for Architectural and Mechanical applications in the greater Nashville and Clarksville areas, as well as metal repair work needed for vehicles, mailboxes, lawn mowers, and furniture. I am OSHA 10 Construction Certified and a Siemens Level 1 maintenance technician and instructor.

We hired Cosby’s Welding to build a railing for our very narrow, steep outdoor staircase. Several contractors told us an iron railing wouldn’t work (they wanted to buy premade ones that were too wide for the door to be able to open) and pushed us toward wood, but Mr. Cosby immediately understood the challenge. He drew a sketch on the spot and designed a custom iron railing that actually fit our space and will last. His quote was lower than the others, and it was impressive to watch such a true professional weld a custom railing from scratch on-site. He clearly knows his craft and you can see why he stays busy. Our railing is beautiful, solid, and worth the wait. Highly recommend.

Chris went the extra mile by repairing an additional weld to ensure everything was done correctly—and he didn’t charge me extra for it. I truly appreciate professionals who don’t just do what you ask, but also make smart recommendations based on their experience to make sure the job is done right.
