Update 04/16/2024 at 3:05PM - they called me today and threatened to sue me for defamation for leaving this review. Everything I said is the truth, only the truth, and whole truth. I stand by my words and strive to let homeowners know about my truth and honest experience. Poor communication. Flaky. Our initial appointment was the past Friday. They were late and called me last minute. I wasn’t available at a later time so we rescheduled to the past Monday. They didn’t come or communicate at all. Will not hire this pro ever.

Reviews
They were persistent in soliciting my feedback and interest in the job.
Without listening to the full scope, the owner told me they don’t do projects under $20k. I had already told the first girl I spoke with, Erica, we had an open budget. When she kept pressing for a budget, I told her we don’t have one but if they have a policy on minimum spend, she should let me know. She said they didn’t. When I pressed. Our company info, she passed me to the owner who then asked the same questions but couldn’t be patient enough to listen. It’s a bad sign when someone can’t spend 5 minutes to listen properly and make assumptions about what you can spend. It’s worse when it’s the owner! It’s also a red flag when the first question a company asks is how much are you willing to spend.
We been house searching for a while now due to needing more space and it was just not happening. I decided to add an addition of garage and finishing our basement of the house, and I do not regret it. Cosmo Builders, and their engineer gave me some great ideas for the floor plan, pulling permit, Construction materials and finishing materials around our budget. The crew did a clean and fast job and were very respectful and they complete project on time. Great experience working with Cosmo Builders. Good Luck, Dadfar
We have just had our basement remodeled and what a surprise for us when we go in to check and it is a hundred times better than we could have ever had imagined. Initially, we had so many ideas for the basement and it was hard for us to choose, so we let the construction company decide on some indecisive aspects that my wife and I had, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. Will certainly use their services when we decide to refurbish another part of the house.
