We had our basement finished with Cozy Basements and are super happy with the results. Viktor came in and provided a quote and pointed out some things about the basement that others didn't which I really appreciate; he was easy to talk to and bounce ideas back and forth; and we are now enjoying our new basement :)

Avoid any plumbing job with this company .. He totally screwed my bathroom remodel .. i have an upstairs bathroom that sits on a hallway and the outside is exposed to attic.. first time he put the pipe close to hallway ceiling and it broke so he had to redo ceiling .. second time the faucets were installed by unlicensed plumber and they leaked inside down through ceiling and hallway . We caught it immediately so only damage was new ceiling again. After he left , during winter and -13 degree day , the pipe behind same bathroom burst and water pouring down the hallway and walls and into my living room.. these idiots didn’t put insulation back on the outside wall when they put tiles .. he refused to do repairs and sent me the picture that he says shows insulation and I will post it here .. look for left bottom where there is dark area that is uninsulated attic ..we had a language problem with all his workers and used to communicate through an app.. avoid at all costs
Viktor is amazing to work with and coordinated all details in advance. Great quality work was done.
When Viktor came to our place to examine our basement, he took time to clarify and answer any questions we had for him. We picked his company initially because of his competitive pricing. Throughout the renovation process, he was in communication and will clarify any modifications that we want made. At the end of the renovation, he was even willing to have a couple of walls painted even though it was not what he had in mind. All in all, a very positive experience and I would hire him again for any future job I may have in our house.
I had my basement finished by Viktor and his team in spring 2024. I would highly recommend his services as he was able to work within my budget without cutting any corners. His team was professional, punctual and was able to accommodate any changes we had to make while working on the project. My favorite part was how the bathroom turned out in the basement.
Our experience with Shtympura Group was great. They provided good value. an action plan, and they kept us in the loop from start to finish. This company definitely takes pride in their work, and we would recommend them for other projects. We are also planning on working with them for other projects throughout our home. Thank you Shtympura!
