Okay so he was INCREDIBLE. He led the reception wonderfully despite some bad communication on my side. One of my favorite moments was at the end he had everyone circle around my husband and I for a last dance. Totally unexpected but exactly what we needed. Aside from that he was just amazing.
If you want a fun, non-stop dancefloor at your wedding, Mike and Amy (aka Creative Exposures) are the team to call. Leading up to our wedding, Mike was responsive and willing to hop on a call to answer any questions I had. Additionally, they made sure that they had all the songs we wanted (they have a checklist of potential songs, but we opted to create a Spotify playlist and simply shared it with Mike) downloaded and ready to go for the day-of (just in case there wasn’t great internet or cell reception). That said, while Mike downloaded our playlist from Spotify, Amy had everything uploaded into professional DJ equipment when she arrived on-site. She was able to fade songs into one another to ensure the dancing never stopped, allowed for us to hop on the mic at any time, and was always ready to play the special songs we had selected for our first dance, bouquet toss, and a few other fun surprises we had in store for our guests. Mike and Amy had everything needed to put on an awesome party - the DJ equipment, professional lights, speakers, and microphones. Amy did an incredible job of changing up the music on our playlist to ensure we had the maximum number of people on the dancefloor at any given moment. Their rates were very reasonable when compared to other DJs, and I could not have been happier with the results – I received numerous compliments from our guests on how much fun the dance party was. I would recommend Mike and Amy to any couples getting married in Denver or the mountains (our wedding was in Silverthorne). We had a friend emcee for us, as he really wanted to do it, but Amy was ready to jump in and take that on at any moment, and just from meeting her, would have been a fun and energetic host.
I just recently got married and having Mike as our DJ was amazing! He and his wife were super professional and kept the afternoon running smoothly. I loved that he got everyone on the dance floor at the beginning of the night and kept people dancing. It was an incredibly fun night and the photo booth was the cherry on top! Everyone had so much fun using the photo booth and all their props! My favorite part is that they printed the photos and my guests got to keep them! I highly recommend Mike for any and all your party needs.
Although we didn't get to utilize Mike for his DJ services (we had to cancel our reception due to COVID), we did receive a very nice gift from him! About a week before our wedding, he mentioned that he had a wood-working business and that he wanted to make us something custom for our wedding. We could not have been happier with what he made us! He put together a custom, wood plaque with our names and date engraved and a frame around the outside for our guests to sign. They loved it! He also made us a framed, wood cross. I believe he uses a router/laser cutter - the precision was impeccable! We even sent him our "logo" of the mountains which he added to the piece. We would highly recommend contacting Mike for his wood-working abilities!
