Beware - if you don't agree with Karie's taste in furniture she will keep your deposit. I signed a contract with Karie to stage the main room and bedroom in my house prior to selling the home. I provided a 50% deposit to Karie, per the term of the agreement with an expectation that appropriate furniture would be delivered. Karie's first attempt resulted in a couch that would belarely suffice in a dorm room, and the color did not go at all with the house. Karie also delivered a bedroom lamp with a huge dent in the lamp shade and suggested that we simply "rotate the lamp" to hide the dent. Karie was given a second chance and she replaced the very small sofa with a loveseat that was completely frayed across the bottom and had tears up both sides of the couch. I informed Karie that her efforts and style were not meshing with mine and she needed to remove the furniture and refund my deposit. She removed the furniture but is adamant that she is keeping the deposit which is a clear breach of contract and professional negligence. Karie is dishonest, unprofessional and not someone with whom you should conduct business.
