“Full Service” Advertised I inquired with this landscaping service through Thumbtack on April 15, 2026, because they advertise “Full Service Lawn Care.” I specifically requested a Full Spring Cleanup, including: * Removal of sticks, leaves, and acorns * Hauling away old treated wood in the backyard * Trimming the perimeter and mowing the front and backyard * Pulling old plants near the driveway Instead of receiving a written estimate as requested, matters immediately went off track. Alexander of Crespo Landscaping asked for my address to view the property in order to provide an estimate. Instead, while I was not present, they negotiated a verbal agreement with another household member (who was not involved in the request) and reduced the scope to basic debris removal only. The household member was pressured into agreeing to have the work done immediately or face a higher cost later. This was against my instructions. I had asked Alexander to communicate with me via Thumbtack with any questions and provide a written estimate. By the time I became aware, the landscapers had already cleared half of the debris. I told them to finish the second portion, but made it clear this was not an acceptable way to conduct business. Alexander seemed more concerned about whether he would be paid than correcting the situation, although he did apologize before leaving. I then sent a message via Thumbtack outlining the remaining tasks in the original scope of the job. He agreed to return the next day to complete the work. I paid $400 in advance based on that agreement. Day 1 (Debris Removal Only): * Two workers were on-site from approx 11:00 AM to 3:45 PM * This did not include mowing, trimming, hauling wood, or pulling plants * There were periods where Alexander stood by watching his worker instead of assisting, contributing to the slow pace * For $400 and two workers, I expected both to be actively working Day 2 (Completion Attempt): * Claimed he arrived early but left due to a noise complaint * Provided no follow-up or ETA until I messaged twice * Eventually showed up in the rain * Repeatedly argued about the scope, defaulting back to the incorrect verbal agreement with the household member At one point, I was even asked if they could throw the wood over my fence instead of hauling it away properly. What was completed: Debris and wood were removed. What was not done properly (or not done at all): * Perimeter trimming for a ~0.31-acre property was rushed in 10–15 minutes total * Mowing/trimming was done in the rain, resulting in uneven cuts and clumping of grass. This approach can damage the lawn (tearing grass blades, increasing disease risk, compacting soil) * Plant removal near the driveway was never done Overall, there was little attention to detail. This was not professional-quality finishing work. Additionally, Alexander complained to me about paying $100 in disposal fees, even though my original request was to leave debris curbside for township pickup (which would have avoided that cost entirely). This again showed a failure to follow the original instructions. My Overall Experience: * No written estimate * Scope changed without proper approval * Poor communication and follow-up * Pressure tactics used * Inefficient use of time on Day 1, followed by rushed work on Day 2 * Tasks from the original request were ignored * Unprofessional suggestions and complaints * Low-quality finishing work Bottom line: I strongly recommend getting a written estimate and confirmation of the scope of the job before providing an address. But, if you’re looking for “Full Service Lawn Care,” this is not it. I would not contact Crespo Landscaping again for future work. Pictures: 1) Debris half cleared in front yard shows what cleared vs uncleared looks like 2) Plants not removed 3) Day One picture of wood not hauled and grass left unmowed *I have additional images, but the three provided should be illustrative enough. Crespo Landscaping was efficient and professional. They were busy with many appointments during a peak time for leaf cleanup and removal, but they were able to fit us in within a few days and did a great job. Thanks!
Crespo Landscaping did an amazing job! Alexander was super professional and such a nice guy. They aerated, seeded, mowed, and weeded my lawn, and it looks so much better now. I’m really happy with the results and will definitely use them again. Highly recommend!
Crespo landscaping was great! They did an incredible job. They were so prompt to respond and came to the house within an hour of the phone call. I wasn’t there at the house and they took care of everything, sent me photos of their progress along the way and were very thorough, professional and trust worthy. They kept me informed the whole time even though I couldn’t be there and it was a big job! I highly recommend them and will use them again.

I asked for the quote last night. Got an inquiry and hour or so later. Sent video of the property. They said they could be here tomorrow evaluating and if I wasn't okay with their price, they'd leave and no harm done. They came punctually and gave me their price. Did a great job. I was on vacation for over a month and the backyard was ridiculously high. Now it's nice and neat. Ready to keep on using them for maintenance and not have the yard get so out of hand.
Overall I had a great experience working with Crespo Landscaping. They responded quickly to my inquiry and when they came to view the area , they came ready to work the same day. I have no complaints. Vey grateful. I will definitely be working with them again.
He did a good job in trimming the trees and getting rid of the weeds. I was very pleased with his work.
Mr. Crespo and his colleague did a wonderful job in curating & restoring the plants sitting gloomy, trimmed them and made sure to get the nooks & crannies consisting of poison Ivy. They made a planting bed which is wonderful. They were meticulously and organized throughout. It’s a total 360 from the previous lawn mowing company that charged me way more for doing less & disturbing some of the plants, which I’m having a hard time getting them. But definitely go with Crespo Landscaping

I contacted Crespo Landscaping last minute to clear out a garden bed due to an HOA requirement, and they came through right away, showing up the next morning! Their promptness and professionalism were exceptional. They not only cleared the garden bed efficiently but also applied weed killer to make sure the weeds wouldn’t come back. The team was thorough and kept me updated throughout the process. The price was very reasonable, and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend Crespo Landscaping for anyone in need of reliable and quick landscaping work. They truly care about getting the job done right!
Crespo was very responsive and got the work done the very next day. Him and his team did a great job at clearing my unused backyard and made sure they hauled each and every bit of the cut grass and weeds. I will give them a 5 star rating and will hire them in the future.
