I love to dance. It is one of my greatest passions, as is teaching. My style is often described as patient, yet firm, and rippled with comedic relief. Affectionately called a "drill sergeant" by my students, I will make sure you learn the right way the first time. I believe that clean habits and confident dancers are created early, and I won't let you fail! Changing the way a person experiences life through dance is one of my greatest joys. I believe dancing is an art, skill, expression, and connection that everyone deserves to have the pleasure of experiencing. When I see my students realize their dream of dancing, gain confidence, and experience joy, I feel a great sense of personal success and euphoria. This feeling of bliss is what drives my passion.

So happy to meet with Alexis! She is awesome and amazing. My husband and I are both know little about dancing, and very new leaners. From start to finish, she was incredibly patient and accommodating, tailoring the lessons to our skill level and making sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. She not only choreographed our wedding dance but also possessed the expertise to ensure that our poses look stunning in the pictures! My fiancé had a terrible dance lesson experience from the past. Just to have him to try out was paying the ass to me. Thank god I found Alexis. My fiancé and I had such a good time learning to dance with her. She helped us with choreography for our first dance. In all, she is a wonderful, patient, encouraging teacher. She paced her lessons so well and was spot on in terms of giving us critiques we could understand and work with. Alexis was a total professional from her punctuality to her methodology and I’d recommend her to anyone!
If you are looking for a wedding choreographer, Alexis is your girl! We reached out to her in June with less than 2 weeks to learn choreography for our wedding in July. Alexis had us ready in 5 lessons! With a background in photography as well, she made sure to add in poses that would look spectacular in photos. Our wedding guests were floored by our first dance and it was one of the best parts of our night. Thanks again Alexis!
