We had the pleasure of working with Ivan and he choreographed our wedding dance for us. I am not a great dancer and he worked with me and was very supportive and not judgmental at all. He was funny and great to work with I’ll actually miss the lessons we had. And our dance was great, everyone loved watching it at the wedding!

With over 23 years of dance experience and 14 years of teaching, I bring professional experience, passion, and a personal approach to every lesson. I am a professional Latin dancer currently competing at the international level, and I love sharing my experience with students of all ages and skill levels. As a winner and finalist at international competitions, I have competed on some of the most prestigious stages in the dance world, including the Blackpool Dance Festival (26th place), WDSF Open in Helsinki (semi-finalist), German Open Championship (30th place), and Tallinn Open Cup (20th place). I teach everyone from complete beginners to competitive dancers, always adapting each lesson to your individual goals. Whether you want to learn to dance for fun, improve your technique and confidence, prepare for a competition, or simply feel more comfortable on the dance floor, I will create a clear and enjoyable path for you. My teaching approach combines strong dance technique, body and posture awareness, musicality, and practical partner skills. I believe that good dancing should not feel complicated or intimidating. My goal is to make every lesson productive, encouraging, and fun while helping you see real progress. I also specialize in wedding choreography and have created many memorable first dances for couples. My ProAm students regularly compete and achieve strong results at competitions. I teach International Latin, Ballroom, Salsa, Bachata, wedding dances, and more, and I work with both adults and children. Whether you're taking your very first dance lesson, preparing for your wedding, or looking to take your dancing to a competitive level, I would love to help you reach your goals and enjoy the process along the way. I teach at various studios throughout the Bay Area and also offer the option of traveling to clients for private lessons in the comfort of their own home.
