My relationship with Daniela started back in September, 2024 as a new Airbnb owner I explained to her that was my first time with this line of business (short-term rental). She came (the only cleaner I interviewed) and I felt comfortable with her and didn’t bother to reach out to anyone else. I once owned a small cleaning company myself over two decades back and currently a business owner in the transportation sector. I have no issues with Daniela as I heard her ambition as a young entrepreneur kinda admire that in her. However, after hire her company her cleaning crew never did anything to the T. I would go back after take pictures and videos to share with Daniela about my grievances. And yes I would do additional cleaning myself, after getting the place clean. One time it wasn’t just the little details it was a bed not completely made at all and other things that would be noticeable to guest. She did say I have them come back I was too pissed and my husband helped me finish as someone was due to arrive. I asked her how much should I venom she said that was her lost and don’t feel it was right for me to pay the whole thing. There has been many of the instances and one she drove from CT to properly clean after I shared a video and pictures at 10 pm or 11 pm. She insisted even though my husband and I were getting ready to do it ourselves. Again, that helps me keep the patient and understanding as a business owner I know all too well this kind of sacrifices. This started from the beginning of our first cleaning as I have all the texts back and forth. After two months into our third month of me understanding her (from one business owner to another) employees at time does not delivered what they are trained to do. She came as I had a checkout and a check-in within the same day herself after coming from a long drive. I spoke to her two days prior and told her she didn’t need to come as I understand she was going through a loss and can send her staff (though I am not happy with their delivery). Immediately after she arrived I received a text (picture) of how the guest left the linens and towels gathered them in the tub and on the floor. Yes, I ask guests to pill all used items in one location as I am giving that same instructions when I stay at an Airbnb or even a hotel I do the same. I personally do not place them in the tub. How am I supposed to know in advance that a guest will choose to do that the way they do? She said she will placed them downstairs and laundry for her was too costly as it is eating into her profit. She gave me her pricing at the beginning and I never disputed it and what would be covered. She won’t do laundry at the location as leaving her girls at the location eats into her profit as well. I simply told her that was foul as I was the one complaining about her staff leaving things undone or not paying attention to details. She told me numerous times “you want things perfect”! She showed up not giving me the same courtesy of a conversation and simply fire me. After that I stay silent as she said she decided on her way that morning that her servicing our property wasn’t worth it to her. And will refer me to her cousin or someone else who used to work for her. She cleaned my place herself for the first time that day and it was done right. I would never have an issue with Daniela if she would come herself and inspect the work her staff delivers instead of me who work from home and live next door have to do and pay her as well to inspect her staff work. I simply want to make sure our guest are not entering a home they pay for to feel the trace of the last guest messes, and wants to be sure we deliver the service we promise our guests. It is unfortunate that Daniela makes me sound like a cold-hearted individual as I have been very compassionate and patients for over two months since we started on our experience. I don’t regret it one bit as she herself is a remarkable cleaner however I would advise her to honestly inspect her staff work when they least expected. Daniela was punctual for her appointment to give us a quote. She was thorough and professional in her evaluation of what we needed done. I hired her to clean while we were away on a trip. It was so nice to come home and have everything looking sparkly. I have also hired her again.
This was my first time hiring a house cleaner. I’m a working mom to a toddler and have a dog and 2 cats, so it definitely gets overwhelming with all the animal fur and general toddler messiness. I am completely blown away with how clean my house is right now! It smells amazing too! No detail was missed, every inch of my floor was swept, and mopped and every carpet was vacuumed. My bathroom looks AMAZING! I’m so happy I decided to go with Daniela and her crew. I’m looking forward to my bi-weekly cleans. Since the very beginning of my relationship with Daniela, she has been the consummate professional — she responded quickly to my request on Thumbtack, provided me with references, and even came over to see the space and give me an accurate estimate for her work. She arrives on time and even brings her own supplies! Her work really does speak for itself. She and her partner are both efficient and thorough in their execution. I wish I had thought to take ‘before’ photos, but please do enjoy admiring the detail of her finished product: my entire home is now gleaming, it smells so fresh, and Daniela even leaves fancy towel and toilet paper folds in the bathroom!
