Hi there! I am a professional portrait and lifestyle photographer based in San Diego, CA. The most important part of creating a fantastic finished product comes down to one word: communication! I create timeless images with bold color, light, and strong concepts, usually with elements of nature. It was a great experience working with David. He was prompt and well experienced. I hired him for a surprise proposal. He gave me a recommendation on where to go, along with where to stand, and we did a quick 15 minute session after the proposal. If you are looking for a photographer in San Diego, don't overthink it. We couldn't have been happier with our 1yr wedding anniversary photo session with David! He handled our last minute planning and out of town naivety with ease by suggesting a perfect meeting location and beautiful area for our session right near our hotel. He is a fantastic photographer who makes you feel comfortable during the session while also producing high quality work with a quick turn around. There is so much that I want to say about my experience with David. First I was really nervous because I’ve never have hired a photographer from an application, also being from a different state was a bit nerve wrecking. The photo session I wanted was so special to me because I’ve never had family portraits taken before. I am beyond pleased with David. Not only did he help me With picking the perfect location, but he was on time, and has an amazing personality. He made us feel really comfortable. The weather was not what we anticipated, it was cold, windy, my eyes wouldn’t stop watering, but you can’t even tell, he had a way of making us forget about it. We booked David for a super last minute maternity photoshoot and he did not disappoint! David did a fantastic job of capturing my daughter’s expressions and personality in her HS senior photo shoot. The photos are beautifully done with the exact type of artistry and look I was wanting. Working with David was amazing from start to finish. I contacted him about getting headshots for my boyfriend as a surprise gift. David responded quickly and we were able to get something set up easily. During the shoot, David made my boyfriend feel comfortable and at ease. Everything about our experience with David was awesome. He was responsive and extremely helpful despite thousands of miles of distance (I live in Germany and was coordinating a photoshoot for Portland), and ended up redirecting us to the PERFECT venue when the original place we'd planned for wasn't available. He was patient when my partner and I were a few minutes late, and he made the entire shoot comfortable, efficient, and easy. The finished photos are exactly what we need for our website and our company branding. Excellent value... We would love to work with David again. Can't recommend him enough!

I got my senior pictures taken by David at Seaside and they turned out amazing! The quality is amazing and I got around 85 final pictures. I would definitely recommend David as a photographer, it was my first time getting pictures taken and he told me what to do and the pictures came out wonderfully.
