DC Movers completely changed the price of the move after moving my things. The leader held my items hostage until I signed a new contract for significantly more money. I had the head of the group give me an in person quote to avoid just this kind of bait and switch.

Reviews
Quality of work not great at all, 2 hours late. The movers moved very slow. Took them twice as long to load up my stuff than the last moving company I used a few months ago.
Hired two man crew and truck to move a sectional, washer and dryer, and king mattress set. That somehow ended up causing me $500. These guys are definitely taught to take their time to make sure they go over the 2 hours. Would not recommend.
Really great guys to work with! Very professional and thorough! Totally recommend!
Booked this company for a last minute move. The guys showed up and got right to it. Very nice and made sure I got my things where they needed to go.
Made a Stressful day very easy. Recommend this moving company
DC did everything right! Moving is so much chaos, and they were super prepared and thoughtful about how they moved everything. Would hire again!
These guys were awesome! I needed movers in 12 hours and I was able to get a response immediately and have a fair price. These guys arrived early and were so fast and efficient! Will definitely use again!
These people are scammers don’t use them they came and destroyed our stuff and left just at the bottom of steps. Develynne Camack is a scammer please use others not worth it|
They were amazing. Accommodating. Flexible. Polite. Moved two small pods into my home in 90 minutes with three men. Moved everything into each room that I asked. So worth the money.
Very professional and courteous movers. They were very intent on keeping with their standards, and they were very careful with my furniture. Will be hiring them again when we buy a house.
These guys were amazing. Affordable and very professional. Handled everything with care
Excellent service ! Arrived on time and handled my move with professionalism and care ! Will definitely hire again ! Also this was a different move as it involved a senior citizen home and they were very patient and understanding with the entire unloading process . Many thanks !
The men they sent to work with us were absolutely awesome. They took great care of our things and communicated with us very well about where things are to go at our new place. Thanks so much. Will re-hire.
DC Movers did a great job moving all our things across town. We had a lot of bulky heavy furniture and DC movers did a great job getting it all moved w no damage to furniture or the properties. And they did it all for a reasonable price with great communication throughout the process. Highly recommend.
DC Movers was a lifesaver! I had a moving company set up for weeks prior and due to technical issues with the major branded moving company had to reschedule. I immediately went to Thumbtack to research the best rated movers. DC Moving is more than 5 stars, two men service. Quick/Punctual/Responsive!!!! Please book with them you will not regret your decision.
The crew did a great job. They were so nice and took extra care of everything. I would definitely use them again and recommend 100%. They were a little late for the appointment time but they communicated it and it was not a big deal at all. So glad I chose them after several different quotes! I took quick photo of truck when they started loading, you can see the wrapping showing they took care of the furniture.
Kelvin & Dwayne were amazing & very professional. They hustled in the heat & made it look easy. I would definitely hire them again.
Couldn’t be happier with their services! Would absolutely use again in the future.
The team arrived right on time and vey professional and efficient. I would highly recommend DC Movers!!!
