Ren did an awesome job on front porch stair rebuild for our home in DC near Capital Hill. We had rotten risers and cracked treads that he replaced and painted. he also did a restain on the porch. There were few errors in the build at the end of the first day, but he came back and redid the work to spec. he and his crew also cleaned up and didnt leave junk behind. Ren is a solid guy and I appreciate his desire to do the job right and stand by his work. 100% would hire again. before and after photos

Wow! Ren and team did a fantastic job restoring my deck. I told him I was looking for some deck boards replaced and they far exceeded it. Now my deck has new boards, power washed and stained, and they even power washed the patio. The price was fair, and with eye contact, a hand shake, we had a agreement. I had a deck post that was rotting and needed to be replaced. The team was super responsive in giving me a competitive quote and starting the work immediately. They proactively communicated timeliness or any disruptions (like weather) that would impact the work. they did amazing work, cleaned up after themselves, and were very professional. My mother needed her fence repaired due to heavy winds that cracked the posts. Ren was able to repair it in a short period of time. He was very professional and responsive. I am completely satisfied with the repairs. He enforced it so that we won't have any problems in the future. He was great to work with. I truly appreciated the outstanding customer service. I highly recommend him if you're looking for fence services from a reliable, honest, and skillful company! He definitely deserved 5 stars.
March 22 to look at replacing the boards on our deck and fixing some rot on the railing. We all agreed on the work we’d need done and he told us it’d take him 3 days. We got a final quote from him on Monday, March 24th and he came by that evening to sign the contract. Upon signing the contract, he told us it’d be 5-7 days max and he’d be at the house the next day 9-5 to get the work done. Tuesday, March 25th, he did not show up until 2:00pm. When he did show up, it was him and one other guy there to do demolition. Within minutes of arriving, he knocked on my door and said his phone was broken so he’d need to leave to get it fixed but his guy would stay and work. Two hours later I get a knock on the door from his guy saying his drill died and he needed to borrow ours. They left around 5 with only half of the deck boards removed. They left all the debris with nails sticking out in the backyard. We have a dog and had to keep him away from the debris so he didn’t get injured. They did not return the next day and did not tell us they wouldn’t be coming. Thursday, March 27th, he claimed that because he broke his phone, he couldn’t reach his crew to come do the work. He came that evening to remove the debris from the back yard and finish removing the remaining deck boards. Friday, March 28th, they did not come to the house to work. I would only find this out when I asked for an ETA each day. He never proactively informed me which days he would be there. Saturday, March 29th, they were at the house early and worked all day. They left trash all over our backyard (bottles, grocery bags, etc). They did come back to clean it all up after we said something. Sunday, March 29th, they did not come to the house. Monday, March 30th, the did not come to the house. Tuesday, April 1st, we agreed he’d be completely done this day. He did not arrive that day. Wednesday, April 2nd, we spoke to him and had a heated discussion about the quality and the pace of the work. He said he would finish that day. He did not. Thursday, April 3rd, they did not come to the house. Friday, April 4th, they finally finished the deck after 11 days. They had to borrow my own broom and leaf blower for clean up multiple times because they didn’t not bring anything. The boards themselves look nice, but the rest of the work left something to be desired. Some of our railing had rotted sections. Instead of replacing the entire 2x4, he cut the rotted section and shoved a block in its place but installed them crooked. He installed bolts to hold the blocks in and they stick out almost 4” and it looks terrible. Overall, we found his communication to be extremely poor, the quality was less than desirable. Several times I would call and/or txt him to ask what the plan was and would go hours without hearing from him, on days when he was expected to be at the house. He likes to talk a good game as if every decision he makes is for your benefit and not his, but it’s a sales tactic.
