Reviews
I hired Defersol Building Contractor to refresh the front porch of our 1914 Craftsman home, and David and his team were amazing to work with. They were highly responsive and provided a detailed proposal that perfectly captured our vision for the project. Most importantly, their craftsmanship was top-notch. They went above and beyond to deliver high-quality work that actually improved upon the original character of the house. I would absolutely use them again for future projects.
I am so glad I found this team of builders. They worked great continuously every day to meet my needs. The conversion from a tub to a shower came out amazing. I love the way it all came out and will continue to use this company for all my other needs. Employees or amazingly nice and assisted me with any information I needed.
If I could give 10 stars, I would. I highly recommend David. He and his crew were awesome! They completed a bathroom update for me. David was on time, reliable, and professional at every point along the way. There were a few times I needed to leave the house while they were working. I didn't hesitate leaving as all of them were hard working and trustworthy. ☆☆☆☆☆
I would have checked all boxes, Defersol personnel were amazing to work with, they were very attentive to what we wanted and made it all happen. I would highly recommend them. We had dry rot in our bathroom. They fixed everything and gave us a beautiful, bigger shower. They did such a great job, we hired them to remodel our hall bathroom shower.
David was extremely professional and detail-oriented from start to finish. You can truly tell that he and his company take pride in their work. Everything was handled with care, communication was clear, and the final results exceeded expectations. I would absolutely recommend David to anyone looking for quality, reliable service.
David and his team did a great job of remodeling our rental home. The price was very reasonable and he went above and beyond doing extra work not included in the original plan. I highly recommend him for all the handyman and construction projects. He is very knowledgeable and honest
Great job in building my garden shed by David's team.
They exceeded my expectations! They were prompt, kept me in the loop on all things, meticulous, and they take pride in their work. I’m telling all of my friends how wonderful they are.
Great work and great value from David and team. They worked quickly to repair my front steps and porch, and now my home entrance is safer and much prettier. I would hire them again!
We needed to replace two load-bearing beams on the porch of our 1908 bungalow. It was important to us that the new beams match the other beams on the porch in quality and appearance. Some additional custom work was needed to accomplish that. We got bids from 2 contractors for our project, and we chose Defersol because of their responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail. The time from initial interview to project start was about 3 weeks, owing mostly to weather. What impressed me is that David remembered all of the fine details we had discussed at that first meeting. His workmen were professional and courteous. They left the area spotless, and many neighbors commented on the quality of their work.
I hired David to renovate the master and guest bathrooms and was very happy with the end results. David executed the design plan extremely well and was very easy to work with. I highly recommend him for similar projects.
David is a honest, kind, humble and does what he says he’s going to! He has quality builders who don’t cut corners, and he delivered a huge deck remodel (600sqft, 14’ tall, with new structural engineering) in the time he said he would (6wks demo+build) and on budget. The only delay was an from an architect outside of his control. Excited to work with him again!
I hired David to widen a door frame. He responded to my initial request almost immediately. He gave me a quote over the phone, which was really convenient. I got quotes from 2 other contractors and David gave me the best price AND got the job done faster than what the others quoted me. He and his worker were very friendly and efficient. I’d hire him to do future work.
Excellent team, the entire team listen, and provides valuable feedback
David and his team were excellent communicators and showed up on time for our multi-day job to fix our deck. His team kept the site clean and cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommend!
Their pics look great, but they didn't keep appointment to discuss job (no communication after confirming appointment).
David and his team did a complete renovation of our old master bathroom. David was quick to respond and visit for a quote and completed the work at the agreed upon price. We had an old shower/tub combo that was removed and replaced with a tiled walk-in shower, bathroom carpet was pulled up and tile installed, new cabinets, sinks, toilets and fixtures. I was able to visit the store with David to select tile, cabinetry and all other items I wanted, which was great. The work took a little longer than we hoped for but David kept us in the loop as to why and kept us informed as the project progressed, which was appreciated. As the work progressed we had a few other items come up around the house which we asked David about helping with (light/fuse issue, broken fan in the laundry, outside gate repair), his team worked on these issues too. We greatly appreciated their flexibility in helping us out with these, even those it was outside of the scope of the original work. The end result is great and we are enjoying our new bathroom space. Defersol Building Contractor is worth checking out!
David and his team completed 2 .ajor projects for us. First was rebuilding our balcony that had extensive dry rot. Second project was handling water damage caused by flooding of upstairs bathroom. Thet did a wonderful job on both the projects and in a timely manner. I will definitely hire him again in future.
David and his crew did a fantastic job on building a new deck. He was very responsive and flexible with our needs and his quote came in at a very good value. Highly recommend!
