Brigitte is wonderful. She continues to keep in touch and makes sure I’m enjoying my space. She was able to look at my space, listen to my needs, and suggest large and small changes that could work. She has an incredible eye for functionality and energy in a space and that was something I was unable to do on my own no matter how many articles and blogs I read. She picked a paint color that has changed my entire mood about being home and I couldn’t be more grateful for her expertise. I will continue to look to her in the future whether it’s in person or virtually, and whether it’s a complete home move or purchasing the right lamp.

About Design Frix
Hello, My name is Brigitte, I'm originally from Germany, now based in NYC. I bring a background in art, design, science and my love for the environment to Design Frix and imagine an individual style through both classic and modern elements to create a visual framework that is sophisticated yet subtly unexpected. Through collaboration with my clients I compose a personal aesthetic of elements from their lifestyle, surroundings and possessions. My unique background gives me the ability to intertwine the artistic, intuitive and playful with the practical and environmental aspects of a design project. 9174461359 text designfrix @ gmail . com SERVICES: Evaluation of current space and furniture needs. Space planning and specifications for furniture. Specifications and cost estimates for floor, carpet, wall and window treatments, re-upholstery and more. Furniture recommendations. Arrange delivery and set-up. Accessories including lighting and indoor landscaping. Fine art consultation. Organizing help with your closet. Specializing in small spaces I believe that many people can live comfortably in drastically smaller spaces if they choose furniture and possessions sparingly and arrange them wisely. I enjoy meeting new people and assisting them from start to end to create a beautiful space my clients love coming home to.

Ms King gave my upper Westside 2 bedroom the design and flair it deserves . I bought in August and within 6 weeks she transformed our space into a modern but warm and welcoming home. She has the perfect eye for beauty , mixed with a sense for the practical . This was the second time we used her services ( first time for a rental ) and we could not be happier with the experience . Highly recommended !
Brigitte is very creative and helped us find a great carpenter to execute on her design. We appreciate her getting our languishing project over the line
It is a pleasure working with Brigitte. She adapted very well to our style and the house looks fabulous. Our yard is next when the weather is stable. We highly recommend her.
Just what I needed to continue my redesign and refresh of my studio apartment. Gave great ideas I would not have thought of on my own. Complete pleasure to work with.
Brigitte is a very kind and talented designer who was a pleasure to work with, i would hire her for all my next projects... she has a great vision and her work is wonderful.
Ms. King turned my run down two bedroom apartment into a beautiful home in less than 2 months. Her work included planning and overseeing general renovation, mostly while I was still at the Westcoast . She also furnished and decorated my home and rooftop garden . The result surpassed all my expectations. Ms. King is a top professional and wonderful human being .
Very professional, used our time together very well, shared lots of ideas, listened well to what we wanted, was very knowledgeable about materials, colors, ecologically friendly approaches and materials. A welcoming demeanor that makes her easy to talk to and work with. Recommended.
Brigitte is lovely! She is very organized, punctual, a great listener, empathetic to her clients needs and budget. Brigitte is still working with my family and we all adore her. She is quickly helping to make my vision for my home come alive.
I hired Bridget to design a memorial wall for my son. OMG! I cannot say enough about my experience. She provides great service, very professional and meticulous. She is extremely creative and thoughtful with her design. Bridget did not disappoint, I am very satisfied. She went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for excellence. A five star rating is really not enough! Thank you Design fix and Bridget!
