Friendly, practical residential decorating for homeowners who want their rooms to feel comfortable, cohesive and unmistakably theirs. I help clients pull together an entire room, several rooms, or a whole home through thoughtful space planning, furniture layout and placement, furniture and décor selection, rugs, lighting, window treatments, artwork, accessories, scale and proportion. Some clients are furnishing a new home from scratch. Others already own pieces they love but are not sure how to make everything work together. I can help you decide what to keep, what to move, what is missing, what to purchase, and how to bring the entire space together. My approach is collaborative, practical and holistic. Rather than choosing individual pieces in isolation, I look at how the entire room or home needs to function and feel. This helps clients make more confident purchasing decisions, avoid expensive mistakes, and choose furnishings that fit the space properly the first time. I also have established relationships with a number of home-furnishing retailers and vendors, which may provide additional client savings on qualifying purchases. You do not have to replace everything you own or commit to a large traditional design package. We can work with what you already have, add new pieces where they will make the biggest difference, and create a home that reflects your style, life and budget. My best-fit projects include complete rooms, multiple rooms, new-home furnishing, challenging layouts, furniture purchasing and spaces that simply do not feel finished or cohesive. We then came up with a shopping list, and she sent me detailed links to purchase everything we had decided on. The whole process could not have been easier, and she was always quick to reply if I had a question or needed assistance. Her eye for color and design was amazing, and she had so many great resources to find exactly what I needed.
