I hired Diamond Sets to cater my retirement party and I found them overall to be responsive and helpful. Veronica agreed to come look at the space and hear what I had in mind while others didn't want to bother. We changed the scope several times and she was able accommodate our changing needs. They provided a turn key event with food, bartending, tables chairs, lighting, heaters and a dance floor. The tacos were a hit. A couple of comments and one distinct negative. I hired them to do photography and assumed it would be a professional photographer. instead it was one of their stuff who was learning photography. As a photographer myself, when I got the raw photos I was extremely disappointed. And of course the issue is there are no do overs, and now I dont have good photos of my once in a lifetime event. I tried to get Veronica to have the photographer edit them, as they were raw images. While she initially said they would be glad to accommodate, eventually it was clear they were not going to help out. I sent three polite follow up messages and it was obvious she was ghosting me. After spending almost $9,000 this was assuredly very disappointing to not have the courtesy of a response. So. my advice, find your own professional photographer. The second cautionary note is geographic. They are based in the Inland Empire. I am in San Diego. My party was Saturday and luckily I pushed them and they agreed to do some set up Friday. But a portion I-5 was closed the day of the party and that resulted in a backup on the I-15 which they got caught up in. The party started at 4:30 and due to traffic they didn't get there until after 3:00 with a fair amount of set up still to do. They have a great team and they pulled it off, but barely with the appetizer spread just being finished as guests arrived, and it did make the dinner service later than planned. It was fine but stressful. I guess the message is think about the geography and whether they can service your location if there are traffic issues or make contingency plans. So overall a good but not great experience. I would not hire them again.

The BEST planner ever! Veronica did an excellent job organizing our baby shower for our first child from start to finish. She and her team were extremely professional, punctual, and detail oriented. I appreciated the in-person consultation which helped give me a preview of what it would be like working with her and allowed us to brainstorm some early ideas (she even made the trek all the way to Hollywood Hills for it!) Everything after that was a breeze - the communication leading up to the big day was top tier and eased all my nerves. The shower ran so smoothly because of Veronica and her team. She really went the extra mile by offering quick solutions to last minute requests, communicating with and organizing all of our outside vendors (even those who were hard to reach!), helping keep us on schedule, and just keeping me stress-free and happy the entire day. I’m pretty type-A and have a hard time being hands off but Veronica made it all so easy. I can’t wait to work with her on our future events!

Veronica Perez is a true professional. For my husband’s birthday theme 60’s at JW Marriott, Palm Desert, her concepts came to life after our first interview. She quoted a fair and reasonable estimate for both a cocktail reception and theme party. The props were amazing, our guests had so much fun. She interfaced with the hotel event team, arranged the rooms (both events) so that the guests were comfortable with seating, bar, Buffett and dance floor. She and her staff were attentive and there were no surprises, except for the surprise that my expectations were exceeded. Veronica can handle it all including photography and music. If you are looking for a stress free event that you can enjoy, with hands on supervision through beginning to end, Diamond Events, Veronica Perez is a no brainer. I hired Diamond Events to help with some of the decor for my daughter’s grad party. Although my initial meeting with Veronica went well, I felt that responses to my questions throughout the rest of the planning process were not handled in a timely manner. Secondly, I had asked for the measurements for candy jars and never received a response. Thirdly, the marquee letters were too big and I was hoping an alternative might be provided given the small space of the venue. There were not enough jars for the candy (I requested 8 but only 3 were provided). Fourthly, twinkle lights were not added to the railing due to poor planning of the set up staff. Guests had already arrived when I realized they forgot about them. For the amount of money I was charged, I was expecting more attention to detail, quality and value. Other than that, the set up personnel were on time, professional and worked efficiently. The welcome sign and photo backdrop was basic but lovely and we received many compliments.

They took our vision for the dessert table, audio guest book station, and seating escort wall and brought it to life—beautifully and flawlessly. It was everything we imagined and more. Veronica was just fantastic! We hired her to be the performer for our small NYE gathering and it was the perfect show to end our year with. Everyone loved her, from the kids to the adults, just an all around great performer. She has an assistant who is fabulous as well. He makes sure everything is set up and ready to go for Veronica and he also communicates with you to make sure everything runs smoothly and to your liking. These 2 make a great team and I will definitely be reaching out for our next event.

Veronica did such a great job. She had a great outfit and her own paints for face painting and balloons. The kids had a great time with her and the guest really enjoyed her bubble show. I really like how she was able to do ballon animals even though it was something I asked for she accommodated us. She also came early and went along with the flow of the party which was nice not having to worry about that. She was amazing with the kids super patient and very concerned about making sure they had fun safely especially since the kids were under 5 years of age and they can be a handful. We really enjoyed having her for our daughter’s party and I’m sure you will too.
