Charlene delivered our event from a phone call/ consultation, a few brief check ins & she delivered. She is kind, professional, & assisted our event within just over two weeks. Our food was delicious & her rates were more than justified for the quality delivered. I'd use her again if I was in the VA Beach area for another event.

If you need your meal only, we will create a drop-off package for you. If you require dining service, we will add staffing to your package. We staff servers and bartenders. For bartending, we offer dry-hore bartending. This means that you bring the liquor and liqueurs, and we’ll bring the setup and skill. Have the same food and meal prepared as the one you paid for at the tasting. Real turkey breast not processed turkey . Season the food like the expectation from the tasting. Keep the food warm.

Regardless of my reviewing, please know that Mrs. Charlene is a very sweet person. My husband and I paid for a tasting prior to the actual event (months in advance), the food was PHENOMENAL! The day of my daughter's Sweet 16 (24JUN17), the fried chicken was undone, the green beans were not seasoned, the turkey was dry, and the mashed potatoes were lumpy the gravy was quite runny and most of the guests refused to eat after seeing rubbery and undone chicken. The food tasted NOTHING like the food we had received at the tasting (and those funds paid for tasting does NOT go toward the overall bill). I really hate to give such a low review, but I must be honest especially when others stand a risk of not getting what they pay for. There was a lot of miscommunicating, and I understand it happens, it just shouldn't happen with a paid customer.
Had my first meeting with DIVA for planning and the experience was wonderful! Looking forward to a fabulous event!

Diva Classic Catering was amazing for my nursing pinning ceremony. Ms. Charlene was very professional and she made sure the event was ran smoothly. From the moment she walked in the door she executed the meals perfectly. So many guests requested her card and spoke so highly of her cooking. There was so much food that people were able to go back for seconds and thirds. I just love Ms. Charlene...her attitude is amazing and her food is just as amazing!!!! I will definitely be using her again and recommending her as well!!!
Charlene followed through with everything she agreed to. In fact, she went beyond it. She is very professional, very nice and easy to talk to. She seems to be very organized. The amount of food was very generous and very good. I would hire her again.

She is a wonderful chef and the taste of the food tells you that. Charlene and her employee were friendly and helpful. I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to have our event catered and stay within our budget, but Charlene made it possible! She had every detail covered and made our event memorable.
