I reached out to DJ Cee to DJ our surprise wedding. He and his partner Umar were extremely kind and helpful during the planning process, and the beginning of the event went pretty smoothly. Unfortunately, things didn’t go according to plan, and we ended up with no dance reception, which was the part I was looking forward to the most. Apparently, their cord got damaged or there were some technical difficulties, and they had no backup equipment to resolve the issue. As a result, people started leaving earlier than we wanted because there was no entertainment during that portion of the day. My very upset family asked them to leave. Unfortunately, I was just one of their learning experiences for future events to be better prepared for these types of incidents. It’s a bummer for me because I worked hard to create the perfect playlist, and I was really looking forward to dancing with my friends, family, and husband. I’ve dreamt about this day my whole life, so I’m still pretty upset about it. That being said, they were extremely sorry and returned all of our money for the inconvenience. They did right by us with the refund, and they were very kind and apologetic. For that I am very thankful. Accidents happen, and I hope this experience helps them improve for future events.
