When we started our wedding planning, we prioritized having an DJ really jive the dance floor. Off the bat, Sheila was extremely quick to respond and set a phone call with my husband and I. We were chatting with so many different DJs on 10 min consultation and I remember getting off the phone with Sheila after and hour!!! That was not planned but a testament to how fun it was to talk to her, how much she highlighted understanding the music we wanted to play, the energy we wanted to set and ask our story as a couple. My husband immediately said "yeah she's going to be the best one." Fast forward to a week prior to the wedding and Sheila was extremely organized in asking for our timeline, she listened to our wedding playlist prior to the phone call and did a detailed walk through of how certain songs should fade in, etc. During the day of the wedding, my guests and I had an absolute blasts. The dance floor was crazy and Sheila was bringing in hit after hit. I was SO tired at the end of it. So 1000/10 Sheila for bringing the party to our wedding!!

Sheila is a riot! :) We were fortunate enough to include Sheila in our wedding as our DJ and sometimes-impromptu-emcee. From our first call with Sheila, we knew she could bring our vision to life. Throughout the planning process, she collaborated with us, answered our questions, guided us, and reassured us she could go with the flow. On the day of our wedding, our ceremony and reception went amazingly. Our guests loved the music and karaoke opportunity. Sheila was great!! The dance floor was amazing all night long, cocktail hour was perfect and she managed to smooth out all the rough edges in the schedule, as well as adjust to audibles.

Absolutely lovely experience working with DJ Sheila E!! So many of our guests kept gushing about how awesome she was. We gave her our favorite dance floor songs on a Spotify playlist but she mixed them together in the best way. She read the room with ease making sure the dance floor was hot the whole time. She even scratched on the 1's and 2's taking the best parts of the songs and stringing them together perfectly. She did MC duties and hyped the crowd in a way that was never intrusive and always organic. We LOVED the sleek DJ booth and great uplights she provided that added to the event and made it look so cool. Best of all she was easy and chill to work with, came on time and ready to roll. Would def hire her again when needed and would absolutely recommend DJ Sheila E!!
Sheila blew us (and our guests) out of the water! She was great to work with from start to finish. Our initial phone call helped me to know what to expect throughout the journey and in the weeks leading up to the wedding she made sure nothing fell between the cracks when I was overwhelmed with other planning. On the day of she was self sufficient setting up. And she kept the dance floor alive the entire night. I was beginning to think she we would have to kick people out because they were having so much fun haha You could tell she knew how to read a room. The kids had a blast with the surprise light sticks she handed out and the adults enjoyed the vibe that the lights she provided gave after the sun set. She really owned her role throughout the night and her energy never diminished. What a treat! If you’re looking for a professional, look now further.
