I legit can not say enough good things about DJ Shy. Not only is she responsive before the event and well-prepared with all the right questions, but then she SHOWS UP and people are immediately on the dance floor. Seriously, I don't think anyone sat down all night. She also MC'd for all the wedding-related "events" and worked so smoothly with my venue coordinator. Thank you so much, Shy! You just...rock!

DJ Shy was great! She played exactly the type of music we had asked for at our wedding reception and was very easy to work with when we were planning. She was already there and setup by the time we arrived. She kept the party moving along and worked with the venue coordinator to keep our timeline on schedule. She was a great MC for us throughout the night. We originally hadn’t planned on doing a first dance, but when our guests pressured us into one, she was there and ready to play the perfect song for our impromptu first dance. Without her, our night wouldn’t have gone so smoothly and beautifully. Highly recommend!
Wow! DJ Shy was a huge hit at our 170-person wedding. She was funny and vibrant, and played the right music to keep people on the dance floor. When I plan corporate events, I can tend to get nervous about everything going right. Well, one less worry I'll every have in the Bay Area is worrying over the music at an event. DjShy was on time, professional and absolutely fantastic to work with. I described the event to her and she did the rest. The music selection was appropriate to my event (and that was without my input!) and I received a ton of praises for the music. I'll be hiring DjShy at my future events!

DJ Shy was really, really easy to work with: she listened to everything I was interested in, made helpful suggestions, showed up on time, and was prepared and enthusiastic. We hired DJ Shy to host our elementary school Dance-A-Thon, and DJ Shy was AMAZING. Our dance party was on Halloween, DJ Shy wore a costume, cheered our kids on, led dances, created a fun playlist, AND helped keep the event structured. I am so glad DJ Shy was our DJ, and I am glad to recommend her.
