My husband and I hired DLG Entertainment (Deverin) to DJ our NYE party in our home. Using Thumbtack, I put in certain criteria. I was a little nervous about hiring someone without knowing them. From the time Deverin responded to my inquiry, he settled my concerns. His response was timely and professional. I had three potential options and went with DLG because of how impressed I was with Deverin’s presentation. He reached out to us a few days prior to our party to confirm the last minute logistics. The day of the party, he arrived early to ensure everything was set up without any issues. My guests enjoyed him the whole night. I would highly recommend.
Hiring from DLG made me look real good! The ceremony entrance, bride entrance, and exit music were perfectly cued. At the reception, Jimmy D did a great job as emcee while Pauly C kept a nice chill vibe for the cocktail hour and dinner, while turning it up to 11 for the dance party! A solid mix of some wedding classics, top 40, as well as solid salsa and reggaeton hits. Deverin put together a real good crew for the wedding based on my description of the crowd. If music and dancing are important to you, get these guys!
I hired DLG DJ Entertainment for my wedding that just passed this October in Hagerstown, MD. Deverin was literally phenomenal! I'm not exaggerating! He kept everyone dancing the entire night and catered to my family's music taste. He was a wonderful host and clearly communicated with my husband and I throughout the whole wedding. DLG came through for me when my other DJ cancelled. They showed up early, rocked the party and followed our instructions word for word. We couldn't have had this event without them. Deverin and his crew were AMAZING for our wedding. We had over 200 guests and he came well prepared for an incredible night! They starting setting up at the discussed time, kept in contact with me about any questions, and was even willing to accommodate a few small last minute changes we asked for! The party was rockin’ from bridal entrances onwards, and the dance floor stayed PACKED once things got going. He brought a ton of dance lights and a fantastic sound system. Deverin is a great guy who really knows his stuff - can’t recommend him and his guys enough!
Deverin was just awesome! His professionalism from the booking process to the day of the wedding was fantastic. Last minute date changes due to Covid he made possible for us. His energy was calm, upbeat, and sweet. The music was on point all night and his MC services was the icing on the cake as he was very attentive to our guests. Also, it was his birthday! We hired Deverin to DJ/MC our outdoors event this past weekend and we're glad we did so. Deverin was great to work with and we will happily hire him again if we ever have another event like this. We had a mix guess baby shower so we needed Spanish and English music but no curse words involve and he did that. I am very satisfied with him and would book him again for my next event
